Whisky fans, what is your favorite daily drinker?

For those who enjoy the single malts, what's your favorite daily drinker?

I myself like the Talisker 10 and Bowmore 15

Just so many good ones.
It all depends on the mood I'm on.
I try to keep a selection of about 30 different ones from which to choose.

I also try to have these always available :

Lagavulin 16
Port Ellen
Mac Allan (as a refrenence)

I'm a big fan of Laphroaig but my usual drinker is Highland Park 18.

I also just finished a bottle of Yamazaki 18 that I loved and would get more if it was available in Canada

Glenfarclas 21, which is quite easy to get one anywhere here in HK

Lagavulin 16, if I happen to see one available

Laphroaig is also one of my favourites, but I won't classify it as a "daily drink" in my case

I'm one of the few people that doesn't love Laphroaig, for some reason it just doesn't sit right with me.  Maybe I haven't had it under the right circumstances.  Being that it's soo cold at where I live right now, I need something with a bit of a kick.

Macallan 18 is pretty standard.

When you're in a pinch, anything will do though.

a salesman once told me this about Laphroaig: it's either you like it, or you dislike it.  To me, Laphroaig has this strong character in it, and not everyone could get along with it.

I've tried Laphroaig 10 and Laphroaig 25, and the difference is huge (and, well, the huge difference includes the price, lol)
Laphroaig 10 is like an energetic youngster who is eager to show off all his powers - its peaty smell and taste is really strong
Laphroaig 25, on the other hand, is like a powerful but matured adult who has learned the beauty and humbleness of keeping his strong powers under subtle control

Maybe I am being biased but nothing like Johnny Walker Black Label. Great buzz and goes down great. Also a nice Drambuie The Royal Legacy of 1745 is solid. Really depends on the mood, night, event, etc.

Maybe I'd mix some blended whisky but no singe malt mixed with green tee or anything aelse than
a few drops of water. Also I never ever put ice into my single malts.

Maybe from the more expensive onces Chivas Regal could be a choice to mix. It's so over priced for
the quality.

Coke, Johny Walker red label and plenty of ice is ok when thirsty!

For mixing, Chivas 12 or a variant is a popular choice.

Tastes a little bit sweeter imo than most scotch, can't really go wrong with that.  Not sure why you would want to mix expensive scotch though, a mid grade scotch would do the job for any mix.
