You can install an app called Where Is Public Toilet Version 1.91 which has a map or list view of toilets. You can download a map of the whole world's toilets in a few seconds as it is only 13MB in size. Or only Asia at 2MB size. It finds the ones run by the government toilet department which is good because they are accessible, free and clean. There are ads in Chinese at the very bottom of the screen which don't impede use. I can still recommend Pokeguide for figuring out transit options.
