Taxi to TST to Wanchai should only be a few mins in normal traffic.  Of course if jam, then it can be ages.  I'd recommend going by MTR as it is only a couple of stops, though need to change in Admiralty.  I find MTR is more convenient as it is easy access to the Kowloon stretch of Mongkok, Jordan, TST, where a lot of the action is and only another 2 stops to Wanchai.  I like to do a bit of local "talent spotting" along the way and hope that one of them has a secret double life as a WG and that one day I might open the door to find her standing there.  A little daydreaming with a nice looking talent in front of you can make the MTR ride a bit more enjoyable.

TonyToro,

I have an overnight connection in HK and plan to say at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile. I can also stay at basically any other Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, or Intercontinental. Is the HI GM the best for punting? Best as in least amount of travel involved from me?

Any special comment:
It was my second time staying at this Holiday Inn, and I was wondering why I don't stay here often.
The location is ideal as it is central to shopping centres, restaurants/cafes, bars and the main TST station and 7/11 is just downstairs.
The suites and upper level rooms have been renovated so I was expecting fresh new decor, excellent!

Everything came back to me as soon as I checked in to my room.
As a member of the IHG group, i had high hopes since I decided to stay here over my usual stay at Intercon GS in eTST - Bad idea.
Normally, I would get upgraded to the next level.
However, since I have requested a smoking room, there are no other choice available - you get assigned to the 1 of the 2 smoking floors.
The room has been dated since the yesteryears; carpet looks rather sad, the material of the couch is itchy, the furniture in general has seen better days and you will have to climb over the toilet or bathtub in order to close the door, the bath tub is cast iron with some rust stains, the drainage cap is worn out as the catch doesn't function regularly - just bad all round!

Taking a WG up to your room doesn't really pose a problem,
Make notel the front glass doors will be locked (after 1am i think)
You will have to enter the main door in front of reception,
There will be a temporary security make shit post before the elevators.
Just show your key card and you will be able to walk right past, no biggie.

One might be intimidated by the number of africans and middle eastern gatherings hanging around the area (mainly the short strip of Nathan rd, cnr of Mody rd and the little 7/11 downstairs next to the MTR exit),
They seem to think the own the streets after dark and occupies 7/11, the 7/11 operators seemed to be peeved anyways.
I didn't think much of them and went about my business.

I did visit Hari's Bar on a few occasions and at different times of the night.
Perhaps they were slow nights; limited number of females (5 guys to 1 girl I figured), choices or race were limited so I pushed on and looked elsewhere.
Fire up wechat and 'look around' many to choose from and they like to start from HKD1,000

It was late and I was too lazy to go outside and ordered room service.
Terrible idea, I had the steak sandwich (which cost a bomb) and suffered food poisoning for 2 days.

I was so upset, I checked out of Holiday Inn and checked into Intercon GS.
Did not regret paying the slightly higher charge over Holiday Inn.
I was so thankful I made that choice and enjoyed the rest of my stay in HK.

Pictures below are NOT of Holiday Inn, but Intercon
I have reviewed Intercon before

Do the hotel employees call the police of someone goes into the hotel with an escort girl? Or are
there any good hotels that allow this? The hotels have the passport scans of the stayer and also cctv
(nowadays true with even poor countries)so they still might report it.

So I'll be heading back into HK in April and I've booked several different hotels.

The Dorsett Wanchai
Butterfly LKF in LKF
The One96 in Central

The three hotels hit different price points, 100 range, 200 range and 300 range respectively.
Looking to bring girls back to each hotel so we'll see how it goes.

There’s an App for That!

If you’re based in HK and use hotels for mongering, check out the DayUse app. It is how hotels are selling off extra capacity during the day. You can very easily get a decent hotel room for a few hundred dollars. In fact, you could rent a hotel room for the day, Work From Hotel then finish off your day with a girl.

Here’s the link to the app for iPhones.

Wondering if anyone got any new updates on hotels? Anyone used dayuse.com hourly hotel recently? Any issues with bringing girls up? Paying with credit card or cash? Checkin and checkout process? Do you need any IDs? Rooms themselves? (mirrors/towels/facilities). In a way, it'll be good to find a place with zero interaction, or very minimal as least, especially checkin/checkout . I actually struggled to book Villa Victoria, did you guys just ring up? Couldn't find a website to book!

Trip.com

Now that tourism from overseas, especially China is essentially zero, there are fabulous hotel deals to be had. Trip.com is very reliable for the lowest prices if you pre-pay online. The beauty of this is that for the price of two hours in a love hotel like the Victoria you can have a full day, night, and morning.

For example, I just booked the Wharney in Wanchai for $278! I’ll have an outcall in the afternoon, and one tomorrow at noon!

These kinds of deals are available all over Hong Kong. Check it out!

My first time in HK, Lander Grand Hotel

It was my first time in HK and wanted to stay somewhere closeby to a festival I was attending, Creamfields if anybody was curious. So I searched around the area not realizing how small hotels were in HongKong if I wasn't planning to pay over $200 US per night. I found this hotel to be within my budget, looked clean and spacious in the picture and very close to the metro station.

I stayed at The Lander Grand Hotel in Sheung Wan last month for 3 nights Friday-Monday, paid $160 per night, not sure if it was a good rate but it was good considering the area and reviews I see from the hotel. Sheung Wan MTR station was about 4 minutes walk away which was very convenient. I stayed at the 6th floor single King bed, room was ok size but had everything I needed. It was nice to have a easy code safe that resets everytime you unlock it.

I also did some research on areas to stay before making this decision since I was planning to try mongering. Funny enough none of my experience happened in or near Sheung Wan, I ended up in all parts of HK, from TST to Wan Chai. MTR in HK made it easy enough for me to go from place to place, however it stopped running after like 1am so I had to take taxi home from TST twice which ended up being a hassle and wasted some money there.

Overall, happy with my stay because of the proximity to station and venue I was attending originally. But in the future I plan on staying in TST or Wan Chai for easier access to models...

Good info, yep if you’re a tourist just be careful especially on the TST to HK island route or anywhere in Kowloon to HK island. Many taxi drivers would take you across the western tunnel which is very expensive, then of course you need to pay for this twice as the driver can claim he has to go back the same way.

On the topic of HK hotels, it’s really overpriced now and it’s just crazy how little you get. During Covid I remember a hotel like Lander being $60-80 which is fair imo
