#1 Post at 27-3-2009 18:03  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Surprise for this Newbie on site access Last weekend I was in Hong Kong and Macau and managed to post a report on K-Pressure. Just before I left for Shanghai, I went to Macau, visited D1, and figured I'll write up the report when I get to Shanghai.  But I couldn't access this website up there.  I also tried in Huangzhou and another city.  I kept getting a message, "server link failed".    My buddy sends me a link to a YouTube video and when I tried it, same message.  Then the light bulb went off.  I know the powers that be in PRC are blocking YouTube, but are they blocking sex141.com also?  Also weird, I could get into usasexguide.com but couldn't get into internationalsexguide.com. Is the site being blocked in the PRC or was it some kind of quirk?   I JUST got to my hotel in HK, and bang, this site comes up AND I can get to YouTube.  Is there really that big a difference in web access between HK/Macau and PRC?

I'd be interested if using an anonymous proxy surfer like hujiko could bypass the censorship of 141 on the mainland. Anyone game enough to try?

On next trip, have a set of possible proxies to use when hitting PRC! 3.  the government here is not afraid to use their censorship It just sucked, because I had one free night in Shanghai but knew nothing of the city or where to go.  In the past I've tried newspaper ads for girls coming to my hotel, but that results in 20 minutes of haggling over price for extras and you still don't know what quality you're gonna get. Funny, though, how they blocked internationalsexguide but not USAsexguide, when anything could be written on the usa one.
