The photo filters these days on TF photos makes them look like a different person..  I found looking at their LINE pics (if they have any) are a bit closer.  You can always do a video call if you are still concerned.

A lot work in bars so you can always swing by the bar and check them out, I did this and glad I did on a few occasions.
