guys need some help?

Flicking through some web pages last night and downloaded something (not porn!!!) . Then a microsoft internet problems page pops up?. Followed the instructions as such and then diverted to another page something like `maliware` scan and remove virus thingy?. Ignored it as such because u have to register and pay for it?. Already got anti-virus software and paid for!. Then went back to windows normal screen on computer and as usual double click on internet explorer icon?. Shit!!! keeps on coming up a webpage to say that u have virus and you have to clear it?. After several attempts gave up and installed newer version of internet explorer?. Voilla!!! Ok but new problem arise and dont know how to fix it?. Lets say i double click `IE`, Then homepage pops up yeah?. Thats fine and i search for i.e. sex141 . Then u come to the sex141 website but it pops up a smaller page size and i have to `maximize` each time? Bugging!!!

Thanks bros

I wouldn't worry, it sounds like one of those scams from a not so good anti-virus company.  They use pop-up adds to warm you, that you have a virus so that you buy their product.

Don't use Internet Explorer for browsing the net, it's the most insecure browser there is.

Try Firefox or Opera, they are much safer.

Firefox is a good recommendation.

Not sure if this is the issue you are having, but give it a try, the next time the window opens in a small form.
I had a similar problem when I first went to IE7.

  1. Open Internet Explorer 7.
  2. When you get the small window, maximize the window.
  3. Hold down the "shift" and click the "X" at the top right to close the window.
  4. Try again and see if it now opens in a maximized window.

close all windows
fireup IE

don't use the max windows
use the mouse and drag the size of the IE window that you want
close IE and reopen IE

hope it helps
if not, go google for a piece of software that will max all open windows
cannot remember the name otherwise will post the direct link

I wasn't involved in testing IE, therefore unable to make any comments

tested windows XP, SP1, SP2

when windows XP was released to the market, in my opinion, it was the best operating system since many of us tried to crash the operating system but failed.  however when it was released, many tried to crash the OS and succeeded
