I was wondering if people had any intel or experience with Sands Thai Massage Unit F, 3/F, Chung Nam Mansion, 148-150 Johnston Road, Wanchi?

Only asking as I have walked past this place a few times when I have been in Hong Kong and the massive billboard hanging from the side of the
building is almost impossible to miss.

Was going to go for a look when back in May but thought I’d ask for any intel as I was curious as no website or any other details available except with a bookfun website.

Search function nets a Sands Massage but the reviews are old and not this location.

First many Thai massage places are GONE while signs still in place.
There was a good one (in residential flat) on 166-172 same street, ~5F?
They shut down in 2021 then ...the lady boss took over ...Bangkok Thai Massage (that was a big and good one!)
1F, 183 Hennessy Road now Strong Thai Massage...big upgrade for her.

The one you mentioned rings an old bell. Maybe I wondered there 5-6 years ago and if so, it was neither great nor clean...and it did not make my list.


You just have to try yourself I think.


ONE piece of advice:
In Wanchai and CWB, for 1 hour Thai massage (oil included), it's always (now) between HKD 250 and 300.
If more, you pay for the furniture and an unskilled masseuse. So better avoid.


Then you can find ALL kind of shops from 100% veggie to veggie shops (boss totally NO NO or ...conveniently blind)
with some (case by case) entrepreneurial masseuses
to just every possible situations HJ, BM, BJ, FS, SOAP
...including places where the Thai lady boss is also on the Menu.

(my Reports on such extra cases are generally RA50 or RA40 to... avoid painting a target on their backs for cops to come test their skills)

It was more of an interest as I walked past a few times at night and billboard hanging from the side of it makes it look like a palace but very little information or website is available.
Thanks for the intel on Thai signs but closed, makes total sense. One day a few may return.

Im working my way up to RA40 and appreciate the reply.
