I set up an appointment with a c-org, told them what I wanted, they gave me the address of a hotel and a room number. I gave them my ETA, they said wait a few min in the car before coming in. When I got there, I saw LE sitting in the parking lot in a marked car, so I turned my car around and bolted. Then I started getting messages, "are you in the parking lot" "are you here" "are you still coming." I didn't reply, but I still got a message after an hr. So I asked who it was and said my son was playing with my phone, so ignore everything that was texted. It's been silent since then. So what do you think? Was this a setup? Have you ever had a similar experience?

I ran into something similar. I texted some massage number on bedpage. They asked which city, I told them, and they gave me an address. I Google mapped it, it turned out to be a hotel. Remembering from another mongering forum that sometimes stings are set up in hotels, I decided not to show up. I didn't stand them up - I told them that I was still deciding when to show. I never heard from them again.

I later texted another number from bedpage, and gave them another city near me. They gave me an address in a residential area. I again didn't confirm a time or make any commitment, just told them I was still deciding, figuring I'd confirm after I had a chance to scout the area. When I get there, I park about 1/4 mile down the street and take a walk past the address. I saw two marked police cars parked nearby, and every now and then I'd see an older lady heading out from the house. I didn't hang around long enough to see where she was going, if she was talking to the cops, or if it was multiple ladies. I returned to my car and left. Again, I never heard from whoever it was that I texted.

I don't know what those cops were doing there - possibly nothing related to that house or bedpage ad - but seeing them there turned me off.

The weirdest part of all this was the followup messages. I've never had a followup like that before. Has anyone else ever had that happen?

Not necessarily a sting, but the LE might know stuff goes down in that area and posted up squad cars for intimidation. If it's a sting, you won't see it coming that far away. Never ever discuss services over the phone. Just setup a time and confirm the first name. That is all. As far as anyone is concerned, you're setting up a time to have your chakras cleansed.

Once you get to the room, imagine you're in camera and anything you say or do is recorded. I always leave the money on the table. If she asks if you have anything for her, nod your head at it. Hell, maybe she says "it's 300", still, you haven't said for what. Chakras are expensive.

What you're listening for is something like "how much are you going to pay me for sex?" or something like that. If she says that, that's your red flag to get out. At that moment you act surprised, tell her she has the wrong idea.

At this point the door might burst open and you'll find yourself in cuffs. Shut the fuck up. You're not going to talk your way out of this, nothing you say will help. Even if you say like "I didn't think she was a hooker!" nobody said she was dude, that is enough to convince a judge that the thought crossed your mind. This is the point at which the cops go all in, and hope you make a mistake. NOTHING YOU SAY CAN HELP, ONLY A LAWYER CAN HELP.

In summary: everything you say and do will be used against you. You can do a lot of communicating with your eyes and a nod.

If it was a sting, I don't think the cops would have been in a marked car that close to the location, but better safe than sorry for sure. I liked the excuse you texted back!

Thanks for your response. It's good to be informed of all these details. Your explanation of the marked car makes the most sense. They could sit as a deterrent, collect plate numbers, snap pics, etc. even if they weren't there for arrests. It's crazy that getting your chakras checked is so difficult and risky, when they could legalize it , tax it, regulate and make it safer.

I've been thinking of getting a spare beatup car just for some of these locations. Maybe when I do that I'll load the car up with healing crystals, tarot cards, incense, copper infusion water bottles, and spiritual rejuvenation brochures!

Set up another appointment at a different c-org in another part of Hayward this aft, drove into the parking lot and before I got out a marked cruiser pulled in and pulled up right behind me, blocking me in. After a min they very slowly proceeded through the lot, turned around and then left. Of course once they were clear of the lot I left. I'm starting to feel paranoid. It feels too similar to just be coincidence, but maybe it was.

Some cities confine prostitution to defined areas, informally of course. Zones of tolerance if it's not negotiated out in the open.  

One apartment complex some of us know of has 2-3 active K orgs functioning there.
The Yelp reviews of the place at the time I started visiting there concurred that there were lots of working women in the building, but the
tenants were more upset about Amazon packages missing.
And this is a place where the rents start at about 3.5k or so. That's high, at least for me.

This same community has a cheap, sad looking motel on the other side of 101. The women working there actually have the address listed in
their ads. I'm sure that the manager has bundles of towels delivered on a daily basis to the fun loving single women.

I try to let my prefrontal cortex do the research before my hypothalamus gets me into trouble.

It was bad before, it's dismal now. I hadn't been there in a long time since it became both rushed and a raid was inevitable. But it has driven others more underground.

I know most c-orgs that I have texted would respond with services provided and cost for each service.  By replying back to book with them and if it is a sting, would you get busted if popo just confront you before going to the room. You didn't exchange $ or anything they just decided you fit the description when you replied with age and race.  Can anybody give some pointers? Thanks
