btw, anyone know about this restaurant?

its called lei garden.. or lee garden.. there's two locations.. its a ballroom dancing restaurant....

the one im looking to is.. based in a office building.. u walk a course of a few streets.. and u get there, take a escalator, then a lift to the restaurant.. its really gigantic.. and the center is made for dancing whereas there are tables for eating.. the best dim sum there. however, i failed to get a business card 2 winters ago, and i have been looking for this restaurant.. if u know of it.. or never heard of it.. best DIM Sum.. wow.. i love it...

i know Lee Garden, they've got amazing cantonese food, dimsum but is also very expensive. there's one in IFC and one in Tsim Sha Tsui East. The one in TST East which is the one i think you are referring to, is in Houston Centre basement.

Alternative..........

Try this restaurant if in town......one of my favourites in HK for dimsum & dinner if in area...?

Golden Valley... in Happy Valley

Quiet ambience, top notch food but little bit pricey......well worth a visit though!

o ok

hmmm .. ok i guess i need to be more specific....this restaurant is located in a office building, the restaurant consists of 2 floors. the restaurant floor has a spectacular view of the harbor.. it's probably called lee garden.. but pronounced (lei).. the room is somewhat circular in shape.....like i said there are 2 locations.. one that you take stairs or an escalator to go up there.. and that restaurant has like a private booth that is  place u eat.. and the floor is wooden made.. whereas this one that im talking about is carpet floored....

You must be talking about Lee Gardens 1 and 2 in Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay. Close to the mongering area
of Jardines Bazaar. I wooed my wife in the Lee Gardens dancing restaurant many years ago. But I haven't been
back since they demolished the old building and rebuilt it. Also close to Lee Theatre building in Percival Street,
which has a nice ballroom dancing restaurant on the 19/F called 'Li Hua'. Good place to go and see the tai tais
with their 'professional dance partners". Now, who was the bro who wanted to be a gigolo?

You're right, but they don't convert to a dance hall after dinner time.
