When picking who I want to visit for hotel res, should I skip the ladies that don't indicate english or will they take foreigners? I don't speak any mand or canto. Thanks

Hand signs will do the trick with the girls...the problem is actually booking the time...you need to enlist the help of a cab driver or find a friend! Good Luck! Anyway it's the agent you will be calling to arrange the hotel visit. If you have local friend who can call for you that's great (or see other post re using a cab diver). If you go it alone be prepared for a fair amount of work and rejection, many agents have no English, even hang up on you. Be persistent even if the agent doesn't speak English, they may pass you to a colleague who does. I have had to call for 8 or so different girls before I find an agent I can talk with, and even then the language difference can cause difficulties, but it's worth it. It seems like if only Mandarin is listed on the profile, then the girl and/or her agent only speaks Mandarin.
