Went to Macau for a couple days to relax and let off some steam. Wanted to try the Macau Zhuhai bridge so took the bus from the HK Airport to the exchange station. Purchasing the ticket was easy and the ride on the bus was nice. Was a bit confusing when we arrived in Macau because we didn’t know how to get transport to our hotel near Cotai. Ended up taking a taxi so it was all good. I don’t think I will be using the bridge again as I find the ferry from Shuntak much more convenient and probably faster.
Arrived at our hotel and went for a nice dinner. After dinner around 9pm we wanted to go to a sauna, so based on reports from this forum, we went to the Rio Spa. When we got there there we checked in and headed to the changing rooms. We started to disrobe and realised that the room was completely empty and it looked like the place was very quiet. One of the managers came over and told us that there was not that many girls tonight as many of them had gone home. We asked if it is ok if we came back tomorrow so he gave me his card and asked me to contact him tomorrow. We headed up and decided to walk to Familiar Nombre (again based on positive reviews here).
Once we got to FN, Checked in, headed to changing room, showered and changed into pyjamas and headed to the main room. The main room was a lot smaller than I expected and was kind of run down. We sat down and ordered a drink. We were approached by some older ladies wearing different coloured uniforms. Each uniform indicated the services they offered. One was for foot massage, one was for shoulder massage, one was for ear cleaning and manicure. I was surprised because most of them were older and not very attractive. This was quite different from my previous experience at East Castle Spa where most of them were young Vietnamese who were attractive and flirtatious. We opted for a shoulder massage that was mediocre. After relaxing for a bit we asked the manager to show us the line up. We headed down a long hallway and ended up in an area where there were about 12 girls lined up against a wall. They all had different coloured numbers and were from different countries Vietnam, Thailand, China, Eastern Europe, Japan and Korea. The manager explained the different prices for each of the different girls. I ended up choosing a Vietnamese girl who had a pretty face and a nice body in a nice tight black dress.
