You can give a beggar a baht or 1000 baht. It's up to you.

What's right for one may be wrong for another.
People have different punting styles.

I don't understand and will never understand people who argue over a couple hundred baht. I consider myself a generous punter who likes to buy drinks and take the girls out for dinner. I think that adds to my overall experience with the girl.

To be honest I could not care a less whether people call me cheap or not, not that I am

But at the end of the day, it is my holiday and I do as I please. I remember my first trip to Pattaya with 6/7 other guys for 5 days of 'Golf' and yes we actually did play golf. All of these guys were a few years older than me and all on higher salaries, I of course could not keep of with them buying girls drinking and punting etc..

The second trip I saved my arse off all year just to be able to follow these guys and when I got there with all of this cash.. I realised I actually didn't want to be like these guys, spending 5K on drinks! JUST ON DRINKS! in every bar we went too.. I didn't insult them or disagree with it, it is their money and holiday and they have worked hard to be where they are, it is just not what I want to do with my money. Of course I buy girls drinks if I have fun and they treat me well I will tip them.

As I have said to many bros on this forum who I know, I am there to have fun with friends and chill, if I like a girl I will punt with her, but I don't go just to punt. Sure some guys spend more than others and I disagree with cheap guys who argue over 50 or 100 baht. But, if I am in Wan Chai and I feel like I am getting ripped off, whether it is 20 or 100 dollars, I would also argue, it is principal, not the amount of money.

Now now, I thought you're smart enough to rebutt my criticism, since you've communicated so well. No need for childish name calling as if you cannot form a cohesive sentence.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize you are ESL. Well, there is a nuance between "feeling good" vs "feeling good about yourself" that I take it you didn't learn at school, so let me elaborate.

To "feel good " is simply an impulse, to get a general feeling of wellness, like busting a nut, or have that ice cream after a meal. It feels good, but that general sense of happiness goes away soon after, like a hit of drug, you get high quickly, but you also come down quickly.

To "feel good about yourself" is more than just feeling good, it's about nurturing yourself, challenging yourself, and seeing results that can stay with you for your entire life. Foregoing that ice cream and go on a diet to lose 20kgs is one such example, going to the gym for years so you can be proud of your physique is another such example. Spending time in a soup kitchen on your weekends, even though you'd rather sit home and watch TV, is
another.  You don't get an immediate high, but you also don't crash down suddenly.

If you feel lonely and need to pay for a hooker to not feel lonely, that's just to make you "feel good". To put the work in the gym, to make you body look good, that's shows dedication, the result is something that you're proud of, or volunteering at a soup kitchen, are all examples of "feeling good about yourself".

So next time you pay for a wg so you can stop feeling lonely and to visit a nut, you're trying to feel good, not trying to feel good about yourself, because you obviously haven't achieve anything unless you consider giving money to the wg as charitable, then in which case you shouldn't really demand anything back.

Anyway, don't want to go off the tangent too much, I hope you have learned something new, something that will improve your English language skill.
