So I headed to Tokyo with promises of legendary soaplands galore. Where you are known to pay a premium as a gaijin however service should be something to truly remember.

In a few words: disappointment, complete ripoff.

I think the only way to experience it properly would be with the guidance of a local.

Firstly there's a foreigner price premium of around 10-15000 JPY.
having read some blogs I expected a mark up but it was even higher than prices on the sites. I disputed at first but the Nigerian guy hired by the soapland was having none of it.

So I was given several cards wth photos, but to be honest I wasn't expecting the girls to look anything like the photos so I just described the type of girl I wanted (petite, small breasts etc)

After waiting about 10 mins the girl was ready and lead me to the room.  

Face: bad skin / covered in make up
Build: sturdy, too tall, l large limbed, no fat just not delicate
Appeal: zero sexiness, I felt lil bro shrinking

I rejected her and the Nigerian showed me another card and after another 15 min wait he led me downstairs.

The second girl was petite, but looking at her face and hands, you'd have to use the word girl in the loosest sense!  She was old enough to be my mother. Probably late 40s, early fifties perhaps.   With clothes off, her skin around belly was saggy, her breasts, left was half the size of the right, and a bit shriveley.

At this stage I wanted to leave but they take money up front a standard:  36000 JPY for 70 mins.  I figured if I could close my eyes most of it, I might survive.

Room:  almost as old and tired as the woman.  Wallpaper peeling off ceiling,  discoloration, tired bathtub etc. Old looking brown towels.

It was almost traumatic.  The chair bath was functional, the two in a bathtub was awkward, no room for middle aged woman to squeeze in.  The nuru body rub was functional, robotic.


Compared to Shanghai, Macau, etc. Where you get a line up, this place would be 0.5 out of 10.

Avoid.

To be honest I, think soap land is complete waste of time. I was going to try Kings next door, but I think the risk rewards is not worth it.

Forget the soapies bro, and go for escort agencies.  There are quite a few reports in the forum if you take time to search.  Soapies are all heavily photoshopped girls (milfs), and after being in one and paying a lot, decided never again.  Good luck bro.  Thailand still is the best, after a letdown from Angeles City

Yeah well the soaplands are used extensively by the locals, so I didn't exactly follow the Nigerian. I was inside and they hired the Nigerian dude since he spoke English.

Anyway, seems like they really really don't like foreigners here.

Shame they don't have line ups or goldfish bowls here.

I think I'm mentally scarred.   She had some really really bad nose job... The only comparison that would seem similar is Michael Jackson towards the end... when he had that up turned nose, with weird fake bridge bone, a bit like MJ crossed with Skeletor!

I would have steered clear of any soapy employing a tout and particularly a non-japanese tout.  The Soapies I've been to in Japan also had the problem of photoshopped cards, but the women were all just fine in person and a few were downright cute and worth going back for.

I get that there's no english in the Japanese run shops, but if the managers are willing to work with a gaijin despite the language barrier I see that as positive and it's always worked out for a decent to good or better session (and yes I get hit with the surcharge too).  If a Japanese manager is hiring a Nigerian tout, that just rings too many alarm bells for me.

I think Kinpeibai is known to be one of the more low-end/economical soaplands that's not particularly trustworthy. The ones with truly beautiful women would be higher-end soaplands like Oushitu or Satin Doll, the latter costs about 77k yen for 120 minutes, but the service is top notch with better facilities. If you're more interested in economical soaplands and are willing to give them another chance , Charmant is a strong recommendation. The girls are younger, prettier (for that price point); albeit inexperienced so you'll have to take the lead. I paid 36k yen for 90 minutes as a foreigner. Erika and Rika are both good picks.

Exactly. I was very surprised to see some positive reports here from other bros on these mid/low-end soaplands. As far as I know average age at these places are mid 30s-40s, though I guess sometimes you can get lucky. Even at high end soaps like Last Scene, Camomile, Satin Doll, Hishoshitsu (Secretary Room) the choices are limited for foreigners and you shouldn't expect 9/10 stunners. Even if their websites show 10 girls available, you are only allowed to select from 3-4 max. Always discount 30-40% for photoshopping. For 70k+, you are paying for access to younger girls (mid 20s) and top notch service. Don't be tempted to always go for the prettiest girl too and trust the papasan's recommendations. Looks vs service is inversely & exponentially proportional. The Chinese side of this forum has a whole section dedicated to Japan nightlife. Soaplands are very well reported there.
