I'm making my first trip to Shenzhen shortly.  I've been to HK a number of times, but never crossed over into the motherland and figure it's about time to do so.

So my questions are:

1.  Do SZ girls and folks speak/communicate in any English?  How about Cantonese?
2.  How do I go about finding WeChat information for these places?
3.  What are the general range in costs for massages/HJs?  FS?
4.  How safe is pooning in SZ compared to HK or Macau?
5.  Any recommendations for legit massage saunas? (Yes I know, it's veggie but I have some friends who want to visit a legit place that is foreigner friendly and extras are either optional or not avaiable)

Veggie I like 678 Spa but I know there are a few others that are newer and cheaper.  Been there every chance I can so I am used to the setup.  I get HJ there when I want it.  Now let me figure out how to post pictures and I will post a few pricing.  Please note that I have nothing to do with this operation/business, just another customer.

I take it you mean that is difficult for foreigners now to get action from girls via private Wechat lines?  Or are the massage joints just as tough for non-mainlanders too?

How much do they charge for a HE?  Do the girls go any further (BBJ, FS?)

YMMV as far as the pricing.  I have had some I know well enough (and like me) did it for RMB$200 and had a few ranged from RMB$500-800.  Keep in mind as most people don't carry cash with them after the shower ($$ in locker), the HJ cost go in as tips when you sign off.  There is a percentage that the company(678spa) will get out of the "tips" so you might be able to get a better pricing if you want to give cash(I normally don't).  Any further??  I have not tried it but my clients have so I know it's possible.  I have had a couple of girls that do shoulder massage in the main hall that I managed to bring back to my hotel ....but that's after I sweet talk them for a few sessions....back to back days in a row.  .  Be gentle, trust me.....if they like you, they will.  I noticed a lot don't have manner to them so once u gentle and tip "ok well", they will.  Once they do make sure you have Condoms, cos they are not WG per se, most of the time they don't have rubber!!

Ah yes, I remember reading about the crackdowns.  I did not realize things were so tough in Shenzhen still.  Good to know and thanks for the reminder.  Better to be safe than sorry, especially in China.

One other question, what do people here use for a map/gps combo to find places in China?  I take it that Google Maps won't be reliable (or will it?).

One of the things I learned while visiting other saunas was to tuck bills on the inside of my phone case.  I don't slip a lot, usually say a few hundred HKD which is enough for what I usually want for any extra service.  I then ask the girls how much they charge as per normal and then ask for a discount down by giving them the cash straight up, instead of through the usual add-on system.

I am almost sure, the FS clubhouse - KTV places' wechat accounts are under investigation : big risk to fall into crackdowns.
By the way : the illegal FS places are very expensive and big risk the service and girl looking are not good. -> You can find much more better FS hotel girls in HK with reasonable prices.
Shenzhen has "specialized" for to BBBJ (CIM) regular SPAs.
Google map is not good in Shenzhen (1-2km stripe missing at the SZ-HK border, example if the place is near to borderline, then google map will mark the target inside Hong Kong areas).
Baidu map is good. If you already have map directions, then you can find easy to sauna. If you read my reports, then i always attach maps and directions for find the SPAs.
Wechat is good for the communication with agents and girls. If you already have the agent contact, then most of time you will get 10-30 CNY discount.
Most of SPAs accept HKD too for paying, but you must ask their currency rate before. Most of them changing around 10HKD to 8CNY.
If you shower before the action, then ask back your phone, before you go to the rooms, and then you can communicate well with the rooms' manager guys and with the wg girls too.
If you like the girl, then ask her wechat contact and if you make good relationship with the girl, then maybe you can ask FS in a Hotel for a later time (but i never tried...)

Keeping safe your values:
You can put your bag into your clothes' locker, or into a small transparent walll locker in the shower room lobby (you will get a different key for that).
I recommend : If you bring your papers (passport) and money iwith the phone(s) nto the room with yourself and you can't loose it.

I use Baidu (百度) Map, Google Map don't like me when I am in china.

I used 'Map of China' app on android.  Just get the maps before you go or in a place with Wifi, and then it works like a sat nav with GPS no need for interweb.  All streets in English.

Warning most of your google apps like google maps, and gmail might not work in China, unless things changed recently.
You might need to get a VPN. It is the great fire Wall of China that is restricting access.

Just learned that from a friend so now I can google map in ShenZhen with VPN Master app.  



A little slow through VPN compare to using in other places(without VPN) like home or even HKG but I still prefer Google map.

I used Express VPN today.  It worked alright.  They have a one month free trial, so if I don't like it I will cancel.  

Internet is generally slower for me China with or without a VPN since most of the sites I hit are based out of China.  Local chinese sites are very fast though of course.
