I notice that some places just list the entry price (入場料) where as others say entry fee+service fee. Are there seperate fees paid to the establishment and the girl? Thanks for your advice. I'm planning to get and try a soap land next when in Japan. I'm not a gweilo and Asian with passing japanese lingo spoken. I'll need to brush up but let's give it a try!

#2 Post at 23-8-2016 00:13  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L There is an entry fee at some places.   There is a service fee at all places.   Sometimes the two are combined.  Depends on the establishment.   Also, sometimes there is a fee if you pick/reserve the girl...   Its been a couple years since i last went.  But when i did browse websites, seems the price has gone down considerably since i was living there.   Anyway, good luck.  And if anyone asks if your are really Japanese, say you are 日系人.  They should let you pass.

The medium to budget end soaplands will charge you a 総額 (total cost/sogaku). Syncrogue’s suggestion about saying you're 日系人 (nikkei jin) is a good one.
