We get some benefits from seeing photos of the wgs taken by the smartphones yet we run the risk of being photographed / filmed ourselves when partying / flirting outside in public.

AN American real estate broker has been arrested in Thailand after he allegedly performed a sex act on a bar worker in front of revellers.

Ben Bartanyi, 49, was filmed apparently carrying out the act on a 20-year-old woman at a bar in the popular tourist town of Pattaya.

Shocking video of the incident was posted on social media and had been viewed more than 100,000 times by Sunday morning before police officers arrested Bartanyi on charges of public indecency.

The footage shows a man believed to be Bartanyi walking up to the young woman as she lays on a metal bar.

He then appears to perform the sex act on her before a second walks over, sprays him with water and shoos him away with her hand.

The 20-year-old bar worker told police that she had no recollection of the incident but filed a complaint against Bartanyi once she saw the video.

Police have since arrested Bartanyi, with Pattaya City Police Station chief Sukthat Pumpanmuang telling local website Khaosod English that the real estate broker had admitted being the man in the video.

Bartanyi is said to have apologised for the incident while police continue to investigate.

He's a dumbass to do it in a bar, that's not my thing and never will be due to stuff like this. It's hard enough to keep the tongues of the DHs out of my throat at 109 on a Sunday morning.

To put this into context because the video was clearly not seen by the wankers in the Sun

- It was Soi 6 in Pattaya. If you have not been there, it is pretty much always like this when the sun goes down.
- He did not "walk up" to anything. He was sitting in outside bar, as most punters do on that street, drinking a beer he had purchsed there.
- The bar girl, who if she is working on the 6 is a right dirty bitch, was sat on the raised table, in a bikini, legs open.
- He pushed her back a bit and licked her cunny for a bit - no harm in that.
- it was videod by some thai who was walking in the street videoing the girls and then shared.
- The girl knew what was happening, knows it is all part of the game, and aid back and let him do it.

So the bones of the story is true (bloke licks gash outside bar) but the context is all wrong. The bloke is a complete pest though and is banned from a lot of bars on the 6, but even so, he doesn't really deserve being arrested considering that the cops and army seniors own that street and benefit from it being like the wild west

So do you think he got scapegoated by the cops/army because he was obviously a foreigner (white)? If the guy was Asian but still a foreigner, would there still be a public outcry complete with a public lynching?


Regardless, to me social media really killed the crazy fun atmosphere that used to exist in most bar establishments, esp LKF. Nowadays I am too paranoid to randomly snog civis at lkf because some wanker or stupid chick would take a pic to post in facebook. At least in the wanchai bars there still exist some kind of code whereby you don't photograph your buddy as he snogs a wg else you will quickly receive some bouncing out of the establishment and a lost of friends.

It wasn't the cops.

It is a good example of the dichotomy of Thai culture.

The video was taken by a thai bloke who was walking along soi 6 videoing bar girls, and the reason would be for his own titillation. He sees the events, and video's it, and because it is a foreigner, releases it to the world  to show disgust at the foreigners who do exactly what he would do, and probably does do, in the soapy parties he attends.

The Netizens are Thais who feign indignance at the whoring culture of Thailand, but at the same time go whoring themselves, have profited from girls whoring (whether that be from a family member whoring themselves, pimping, tourism associated with... the myriad of ways) and would love nothing more than to go to Amsterdam and go whoring with European birds if they had the money to do so, then juump on it to make themselves feel better.

Because of this, the police, who own the vast majority of the buildings where the whoring take place, and casino's, and brothels,feel they need to act because the netizens tell them they have to.

It's just a stinking pile of hypocrisy.
