What about Eden on Wellington Street. 340 or so for a couple of hours? Not used it yet but looks OK. Not wan Chai I know but still
Short answer: read comments above!
Longer answer: Eden is nice, and will appeal to many, but ...
the showers were designed by a public school kid, giving off a cold piddle that turns into a warm piddle after a looong wait, and most are tiny
no hair dryer (big downer for the girls)
the parquet floors were designed by a gweilo and suffer from the humidity in HK
the towels are old threadbare and often have a motheaten look
all that for a bit more $$ than VV
entrance is next to a popular bar, so you take your chances with the walk of shame
Upside is the duvet and pillows are big and fluffy.
And the location is very convenient for Central. Obviously.
So it depends what you want.
Best bet is
nah
I already said it all
