He got past the security checks which mostly include fever monitoring. So I guess at that time he might have had the virus but he couldn't pass it to others yet. Little to worry about I think at this moment.

Yes, it is true it is easier to get stds or the flu and die from them, but I think people are forgetting that Ebola currently has a 70% kill rate and there is no cure or vaccine for it yet. So everyone do try to be aware when you are out in public and keep your health as strong as possible and especially for us guys...go see the doctor as soon as possible.

The only diff is that ebola is not contagious until symptoms as already mentioned. This means the risk is extremely low as people with ebola symptoms feel so shitty that they won't go anywhere except to a hospital. ] BTW the African guys here are probably the safest. They are usually well educated and have been here a while. It would be the gwilo health care workers returning from the ebola area I would worry about.
