The government clinics are free and professional but slow, taking upwards of 2 weeks to get results. They also rely on theolder types of tests, namely the really unpleasant urethral swabs, for certain infections.

There are a number of private clinics, with Neo-Health in Central the first to come to mind.

For chlamydia and such they use a urine test. For Tric they use a swab. Syphilis, HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis they use blood. Very quick response time and not too expensive in the grand scheme of things.

Good luck!

How about private clinics in hk? I can understand the government clinics reporting hiv. Do private clinics report as well?

It would be standard throughout the world for the Health department to be notified of HIV.
