It seems the more I read the worse I feel about the place but I'm going next month for work. Reluctant to try any old place without a referral as I've heard all the stories of guys being shaken down for money by big security guards etc. In some ways I feel mongering in Asia is safer.

Is Chinatown a waste of time? I've had one only one pretty lame experience where the girl (should say old lady) wanted $50 for a HJ during a massage. That was around 5 years ago but everytime I pass through vegas I see the place is still there (FYI it's called Hong Kong Massage).  I see all these foot spa places have opened up too - anyone know the deal with them?

Sadly, yes, plenty of rip-offs in Vegas. And the quality stuff will not be cheap.
My best advice is to do plenty of research on the Internet before you go and pick the girls that have a good reputation.
