It’s a shame that Sanado has closed as it had a great area set aside where you could lie flat out, not very private but a great area to get two of the lounge girls to massage you. The last visit I had was in October of 2013. After the two of them finished the full body massage I moved back to the lounge chair and chatted with them in reasonable English for a while.  It was rather funny as one was a very cute Viet girl who I got to give me thigh massage but she had to hint to me to get rid of the other less attractive one and me being a bit thick, didn’t get the hint for a good 15 minutes.
The lounge activities are I think, part of the whole Macau experience. 18 has a great selection of both bathing girls and lounge girls and I have taken a number of both out for meals, trips to DD disco, MP3 as well as back to my hotel for fun.
I usually start my mongering day with massages by the lounge girls and then move on from there.
I’m planning another trip in October of this year for about 10 days but I’m wondering which of the saunas would be best for this type of activity. My day starts with this sort of thing at about 1pm and I would appreciate any suggestions or comments from members who have been there recently.

1pm is too early for most saunas. Even in the lounges you might not find much except perhaps on the weekends.

On the other hand, 1pm at Darling 1 is just fine any day of the week. Not a huge selection at that time, but still plenty.

That will keep you busy until almost 3pm. If you insist on going to a sauna that early, and don't mind spending a lot of money, then Rio and 18 would be good choices. 18 because it gets busiest earliest. Rio because even when not busy, the way they run their girl shifts means there will be lounge girls there even at that time of day.

To my way of thinking, the best time for a sauna experience starts at about 7 - 8pm (6pm on weekends), and I fully agree with you -- the lounge is actually the most fun part. Screwing can be done anywhere, anytime. But all that flirting -- fun.
