Hi, I'm HK soon and been to the saunas and the odd walk in but since I'm staying in town at a GF hotel, I thought it
would be great (and handy) to pick up (or attempt to) a WG I'm a hotel or bar during the afternoon? I know wan chai
Probably best but wondered of any gems out there of other bars that might be great for afternoon pick ups? All help gratefully received and of course will report any trips!

There are not many freelance bargirls around (or even awake) until later in the evening.  Except the Curtain Bars in Wanchai and Kowloon.  But be careful in Curtain Bars as they will charge around $250HK for each ladydrink -- and you'll find that 4 or more have been ordered within 10 minutes of being there.....

You CAN have a good time there, and safety is not an issue, but they will push drinks on you like mad...  adds up to an expensive punt fast!  (mind you, it is not uncommon for them to pull out your dick and suck it when you order the second round of drinks... so yeah... fun can be had.

Personally, I never liked how aggressive they are in those places -- I preferred the bargirl freelancers that fills up the Wanchai discos and clubs each evening.

The other spot I know are the two side-by-side two pubs in Wanchai:  Old China Hand and Queen Victoria.  It is entirely hit-or-miss, but over the years I met many WGs early afternoon in there as they stroll in for lunch.  Kind of a home base for quite a few of them.
