I've tried the Okamoto 0.02 Hydro with a nominal width of 55mm +/- 2mm and they are absolutely impossible for me to put on. I went through an entire 3-pack unsuccessfully trying to roll them (the unrolled portion keeps on getting pulled over the rolled portion and because it's already so tight it effectively binds up and can't be rolled down any more). Sagami Original 0.02 has a large version (which I haven't been able to find) but the width is only 58mm, so not much larger than the Okamoto. I've also tried the Okamoto 003 Real Fit and that was just painful to put on (these manufacturers just don't put enough factory lube on these things for unrolling easily). I'm not a big guy by any means, but damn. Help a guy out.

#3 Post at 26-6-2014 22:51  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L I like the Okamoto 0.02 Hydro, but I agree they are hard to get on.  They don't unroll easily.  It's not a size issue or me, but I think you are right about the lube.
