tavel between Wan Chai and TST

I am setup for a trip to HK in mid July.  Been there and done it all over but never in HK until now.  This site is very helpful.

It seems to be telling me that I should have booked my hotel in TST if I wanted to be close to largest selection of WG (at least the ones I seem to be interested in).

What is the best way to travel between WC and TST?
What can I expect for travel time / cost?

Along with those questions I am getting the impression that WC has a thriving bar scene (as in - a whole other method for connecting with WGs).  Could this be why the 141/Hotel scene is more sparce in WC?

Thanks in advance for the info any any advice.

Just take the MTR if you want the fast one.. not too familiar with the bus no# so i recommend MTR....it is very convenience and cheap....  depends how many days you are in Hk.... but you can buy octopus card like i did when i was there in April. I recalled i loaded the card with 500HKD and still have plenty left...but it has 3 years before it expires and surely will be there again soon.

TST hotel accomodation puts you right in the middle of it.  Can you change your reservation?

TST is better for WGs, but WC is better for the bars scene. It's only 2 stops on the MTR between
WC and TST so it'll be super-quick. I agree with mmmconto1; buy an Octopus card and you'll never
have to worry about buying a ticket.

My recommendation for you is to book your hotels around TST or Jordan...  very accessisble to public transport (I mean MTR). If money is not an issue, book a few nights at the Peninsula. Even if you go clubbing at WC ....is not that far to go back and worst case just take a taxi and it does not cost much.

Bro, strawman is asking for the cost of travelling between WC and TST. Folks who can stay at the Pen
don't ask that kind of question.
