So I've been ridiculously busy with work and haven't had the time to really keep up regularly with this place.  Glad I checked, because I was just planning on taking another trip to Macau to make a few visits to my favorite spot (D1).  I was getting all excited today looking up tickets... only to find out it's not the same D1 anymore?!?!  I'm hoping the "renovations" are for the better, but I will certainly miss the anticipatory walk from the ferry terminal to the sauna aka heaven on earth

I was looking through some of the posts and the most recent information has it opening on August 11th.  Since that's already passed, I'm guessing that's no longer the case otherwise we would've had posts about it.  Is there any update on when it's expected to open?  Oh, and did Sauna 18 complete its renovations yet (yea, it feels like it has been a LONG time since I've been able to go back, haha!)?

There is rumor that it will move to new place today or Aug 18. I shall update the news next week. Regarding sauna 18, therenovation work at the resting area and pool has been completed. But some work still continues around the rooms below the resting area.

I went to the temporary D1 last week and asked the Myanmar manager when will they move to the new place. He said by the end of this weekend. You can try giving them a phone call to confirm. Too bad I am leaving HK and gonna stay in Vietnam for a month, or else I would really wanna have a go at the new location...

That would be awesome, cuz that would mean back to 90 minutes (hopefully)!  I don't remember his name, or even know if he's still there, but there was a manager there who had a shaved head and spoke pretty good English.  Is that the guy you're talking about, or is it someone else (the guy didn't look Chinese, so that's why I'm thinking maybe it was him... but having said that I have no idea what a person from Myanmar looks like )?  I'm just curious because he was pretty helpful last time I was there helping me pick out a girl who gave amazing service.

Oh, and it seems like the reports are pretty variable.  Is the selection similar to before the move but just fewer Thai and no models?  It'd be nice to have a choice of some nice prc/viet/maybe a Russian

I don't think that's him. This Myanmar guy is a bit short with a tanned skin, but spoke good English as well. I think the guy you are talking about is the tall and bald guy. Yeah he is still there. It will be back to 90 minutes, he said. The guy told me that the rooms will be slightly bigger and also with a bath tub. There will also be a small pool (Maybe you could bring a girl into the pool and have some fun a la East Spa's queens bath?)

The last two times I went, Viets dominate the lineup as usual. Thais and PRCs are still there. I have never seen any Russians in D1, so I dunno about that one.

Now I really feel that I'd have to check out the new D1 before leaving for Hanoi tomorrow.
