You obviously already know that they're membership-based. I know of two in Hong Kong, though I suspect that they're actually the same based on my emails back and forth with them. But this was over a year ago.
1.) Yes, you do need to send a photo of your HKID to be accepted.
2.) You also need to send a full body nude photo of yourself with face included.
3.) You need to speak Cantonese/Mandarin. The organizers aren't fluent in English.
4.) Your odds of being accepted are drastically low if you're a single male. These are really intended for M + F couples. You don't need to be a romantic couple, a partner will do, but the point is that they don't care for single males.
