Agent contact in zhu hai and dongguan/changping

Hi-

I am planning to be traveling around macau/zhuhai/dongguan for next few days alone, and as i am an asian but barely speak putonghua, i was wondering if anyone can help me with names of agents/guides in zh/dg who speak english and can show me around/help book hotel etc.  since going alone, mostly interested in sauna/veggie massage, but could try ktv if quality is there or there are others to hang out.

Also would not mind joining up with a group that's already there.  Your help is much appreciated.  Thank you!

For non-speakers of putonghua, the go-to guy is BS Dave. You can see he is quite active in ISG. This is for DG.
If you can communicate and understand putonghua, you variety of agents expands exponentially, you can try GoFly, HFIC, Xinganxian.

In the meantime, I highly recommend perusing the Changping threads over the last four months for reports to heighten your knowledge.

If you're just there for mongering stick to Macau and DG (Zhuhai is a little meh).

I suppose you also don't speak Cantonese (you shouldn't have a problem in the area if you can speak Cantonese otherwise).

How long you there for?

What are you looking for help with in Zhuhai?  Mongering is not so good there right now.  I can help you with hotels and veggie massage recomendations in Zhuhai.

This forum has everything you need for Macau, and you don't need any particular language skills.

DG is as stated above.

Hi all,

Thanks all for quick replies to help a bro out!  No, i speak neither putonghua nor cantonese, so if i get help, it'll need to be in english.

I dont have a set schedule.  I am on ferry to macau as i type this, and i have mongered there quite a bit, and i have until sunday to do/go whatever i want, so i thought mac-zh-dg/cp may be a potential itinerary.

I have traveled alone in sz and zh befote, zh in the good ol' days few years back, and thought id give it a shot again, and just because close to macau, but if play is limited there, no need to go.  Imagine id have to go to zh anyway to make it to dg, or is it better to go back to hk then to dg?

I have read the forum and download/printed most relevant info, and i can try winging it again, but it is a bit painful, while possible, to get around/negotiate with google translate and google map.
, with minimum putonghua.

I dont mind the ktv scene, but since im traveling alone, i thought id just stick to mongering/veggie sauna this trip.

I basically just need someone to guide me from macau to dg/cp (whichever is better for single nonchinese), guide me to a nice hotel, tell me which are the best ktv/sauna to go, when im done where to eat and get veggie masage until ktv/sauna starts again.  I am a bit more lazy than i was few years back, and as this is a rare vacation i dont want to waste time trying to figure things out, and bang as many hotchicks as possible and have a great time.

If there are other members/groups i can tag along, great. I pay my share and am no complete noob.  If not, would be best just get help from a professional, which is why i was asking.  Asia cheong looks promising and i will try them when im ready to leave macau in a couple of days.  Seems ideal plan is mac-dg/cp-hkg now. If there are any other helpful, non-ripoff agents/guides out there, do please let me know.

Any thought/help on the abovr current plan would be appreciated.  Thanks again bros!

If you go back to HK - DG,  you need to have multiple entry visa to go back over the border to China.

I wouldn't bother spending time in Zhuhai then.  There are a few ways of getting to DG from Macau.

You can cross into Zhuhai and take the train to Guangzhou and then another train to DG.  It's pretty fast and convenient.
You can take a bus from Zhuahi to DG.  It's about 3 hours, and bus travel in China is not great.
Or you can take the ferry from Zhuhai to SZ, and then a train to DG.  It's about an hour for the ferry part.  But you have to take a shuttle, bus, or taxi to the ferry terminal in Zhuhai.
You can hire a car from Zhuhai to DG.  It's about 300 RMB if you find the right person.  They might start with an ofer of 700 though.

I believe there is a ferry directly from Macau to SZ, but I'm not sure.

You can take the ferry back from Macau to HK and then cross into SZ and take the train to DG.

The Zhuhai CP bus is actually the most convenient option mainly because of the vicinity of the Zhuhai Bus Station to the border itself. The train station is out of the way to the north.

There is a macau Shekou ferry too, that's the alternative to try.
