As you probably all know whenever you buy a drink for a WG she gets a voucher which she can then exchange against money afterwards.

Now after going quite frequently to the maid parad on Sunday, I realized they also get vouchers too. I was a bit curious at how much they would get each time you buy them a drink so I asked around.

They are getting 50HKD for each drink you buy them! While I get the fact they don't make much etc and the money they get doing that is significant for them. I'm still surprised by the mark up, I mean out of a 75 HKD drink they get 50HKD!

Did this only come more recently? I suppose one bar started doing that to attract DH, and since we know this attract other guys in need, who end up buying them drinks, it looks like if you're not doing that then you won't attract people in your place.

Anyway I saw more and more cases where girls come to you and basically try hardcore to get a drink from you. I had a couple cases where they order drinks without asking me lol. If you go around these places a lot you start noticing the ones that just do that.

Just a FYI for you guys out there. Some are getting aggressive sometimes in trying to get that. I had one sitting next to me and my girl and stay there for like 30 minutes asking for a drink lol. She even whispered to her in Tagalog to tell me to buy her a drink haha

Too bad most of the drinks are not real.  I know of two places that serve totally fake drinks to the girls unless the customer checks and then they will poor the hard stuff in.  Any girl that frequents the WC bars gets a kick back.  Hell if you take your girlfriend or wife there they can get a kick back as well.

The $50 to the girl is standard and was in place when I was there last April.
I have not noticed any change in girls getting pushy for drinks over the last year I have been in HK in April, June, December and Janurary.

Better yet, any girl at Makati can get her drinks for free.  If they want a drink, they can just go to the back bar and the bartender will provide them with a free drink.  I was there with my DH friend and offered to by her a drink and she said to not spend my money on her.  She said she got drinks for free and proceeded to walk to the back bar, talk to the bartender, and come back with a Red Bull.  Punter price is $75HK if you buy it for a girl.

Not sure if this applies everywhere, but I suspect that the more crowded the club, the more "girl friendly" the club is with their drink policy.

Not all girls get free drinks from the managers, onlythe ones who the managers like - same with the customers if you spend a lot of money there they look after you.

As for coupons just about every bar in wanchai does them, varies from 25hkd to 500hkd depending onwhat they get you to buy.  The girls can even get kick backs from the short time hotels

I know plenty of DHs who quit there day job bought their own contract and make 4 or 5 times more byworking in the bars.  Some of them don't even go with many men.

Just remember its all an illusion, loads of my friendsthink they are cassonovas because of wanchai but without status or money you are nothing to these girls ...
