it is a good feature, that is only available on android phones, so in that sense, one would naturally agree that the iphone closed app store is lacking, because it restricts the ece 141 app on their app store.
the ece 141 is also restricted on google play store, but because android is an open software, users can freely install it, without jailbreaking/rooting their phone.
to anyone using an iphone, here's what your missing out (if you didn't jailbreak your iphone), along with countless other goody apps that are out there, like silent camera.
also if you're into piracy, you can download all kind of cracked paid apps for free, that is, if someone actually cracked it, which most cases, they have because the android crack app community is large. worst you'll find is, a version or several behind.
of course, you can't really do this with an iphone, because apple supports anti-piracy (or just an excuse for being a control freak)
