will be going to CP in less than a month now.  should i go with agent or not in reserving ktv room?  been trying to contact them but its a little hard bc of the time difference and no one has responded by email yet.  should i just fugget about them and do it on my own?  Saunas and bbs i probably can manage on my own.  so really just need them for the ktv's.  i speak mando but not well.   my friends speak 0 chinese.   not sure how it would work if I just had them book a room and not join a mixed party.   my stay there will coincide with the end of the canton fair so kind of want to book it soon.   any suggestions /advice would be much appreciated    also if anyone has business cards of the ktvs that would be great too!   thinking of going Mayflower or Yihao and Eurasia.

problem is it's at the very, very, very basic level.  She once had a Caucasian boyfriend. She also like to talk about you to other people. ( gossip ).  A litlte information is fine but too much detail is bad.  SEAJ or AsnDragon would have more input on her.

Been meaning to call bsd but the 12 hr difference is makin it hard.   How far ahead inadvance do I need to book these these rooms？ been to a lot of ktvs in china before so I want to go to the classic cp ktv's (mayflower/ eurasia)so don't want to get stuck with the 2 nd tiers ones.

Simply it makes it easier. you don't have to worry about where to go, you will have larger groups meet some new people, and all the planning is in his hands.  lets you relax and enjoy your time more.

Dave is a good concierge for the area for a group or a solo guy.  You can hire him to be your wingman for the day including massage, ktv, etc.  

500rmb personal tour up to 1500 for large group tours, for simple setup (not personal tour) and such 100rmb a day.  His parties usually run 500/head.  Most of the time everyone drinks and shares the bill evenly.  If for example we have had guys that didn't drink or were only staying for a short time and Dave will accomodate.  

Also we have had rooms where 1/2 guys want whiskey and 1/2 want beer, he figures out and calculates the bill, and as a rule he will text everyone or tell everyone when there is a cutoff (say 500 rmb) and ask who wants to leave and who is in for more.  

This is good for cost control so you don't have a staggering bill at end of the night, and also for the heavy drinking nights ... can reel you back in..

I believe I had a chance to score on her once as a freebie. I helped her moved somethings into her apartment near Yanlan Hotel a long time ago.  She had a 1 bedroom apt with a living room. Afterwards, she gave me somethings to eat and to drink at her apartment.  About 1 year later, I found out someone else scored. Found out he had to hide from her at the beginning. Then things settled down. It was kind of funny hearing about it.

As a person she is very nice. It might be the reason her girls get away with too many things.
