No joy there either - the one thing you can be sure of ist that anyone ripping off a hotel knows that hotel inside and out. You will not think of a hiding place they have not thought of. There are only so many places, and they know all of them. Your best deal is usually the safe, since most thefts are snatch and grabs anyway. if they are bold enough to actually take the safe, there's really not a lot else you can do. Stay in better hotels, I guess.
