One of the weak links in this hobby is the lack of access to healthcare by the WGs.  Maybe "access" is the wrong word, maybe it's just unwillingness to go (immigration issues, no habit of going like girls in the West, etc.).  It seems like a girl's access to, or use of, healthcare varies hugely by country and culture so it's not always just a cost thing.  For instance I had a wonderful fling with a civilian Viet girl (in Hanoi).  She was professional and very "proper" in her life, had a good income, but had never in her 30 years been to see the gynecologist.  If you ask your average WG when was the last time she'd been she'd likely also say "never" at least in my experience.

Any types/groups of WGs that are more responsible about this?  The semi-pro housekeeper, or the Hotel Girl, 141 Walkup Girl, or the so-called "Local Girl?"

I think it's less of the class of wg and more that it's just girls on this generation, speaking as someone who is the roughly the same age as the majority of wgs. I told that me and my peers never really go in for healthcare until there is something wrong andwill not go for regular check ups.

With WGs, time is money.  My WG friends actually will go see a doctor when they're sick but that's highly dependent on whether their boss will let them or not.  If a WG isn't working, whether for herself or for the boss, that means no money that day.  And honestly, many WGs get into the business because either they want to make a lot of money quickly or they spend a lot of money quickly.

One big stumbling block on this matter is the level of education or education provided on the matter. Generally, most female are not even aware there is such a thing called "regular check-up" or pap smear. Visit to the doctor are usually done when something is wrong.

Most of the Chinese girl I know, whom which we may have discussed about personal hygiene, doesn't really think it's necessary to go for regular check-ups. AS in their opinion, the daily wash up they perform at home is sufficient. Now we are talking about civvies...

For WGS? Since the trade is not regulated or legal per se like how it is in some countries, the WGs will not even bother to do regular check-ups to ensure that they are healthy down there as they are not required to do so. I think Freelancer is right when he said "time is money"...so why waste time (and money)?

Unless the government legalize the trade and set some rules on healthcare, I don't think improvements on the matter will take place. It's a risk we punters have to take and precautions are necessary no matter what.

But I understand some NGOs are trying to educate the WGs on the matter, but not sure how much was done though.

They do have access to health care as I am a practicing gynecologist and I give every one of them a thorough examination (think of me as one of those Chinese barefoot doctors, as I am usually naked when I examine them ) at each visit (some of whom I see weekly or bi-weekly) , which includes:

visual inspection

probing with fingers (where permitted)

smell test

taste test (in most cases)

deep probing with a medically approved and sterilised  penis covered in surgical grade rubber

breast checking for cancerous lumps


If you find a WG lacking "access" as you call it, just send her around to me for some quality healthcare. She will get a detailed examination and may even get paid for it.
