Yeah, I've helped out my gals too on occasion - when I've known them a long time and have reason to believe the story.  The most recent was Rose with her operations after a punter beat her - certainly couldn't doubt her honest need for help.

In a sense I see it as three things:  One: just helping a friend in need (a long-time regular does become a friend quite often),  Two:  giving to my favorite charity (I love WGs!!  Why not donate to them versus some other people in need?) And Three:  Karma.  Lord knows I've been a baaad and often very foolish boy over the years - so just trying to keep the Mongering Gods looking out for me!    Every now and then He (the Mongering God) will ask me "to perform a favor for the family" (little Godfather reference for ya!) And who am I to refuse?  

Still, for every request I've agreed to there has probably been 10 where I said no.  I didn't know her well, the request was silly or obviously BS, or something just didn't smell right.

Saying no I mean

I think Wander's post is pretty interesting, because I guess, in order to go punting like the majority of people on the forums, you need to be reasonably well off, enough to have disposable income to put towards a session with a WG. And I mean, a lot of us do get really attached to some of our regulars, especially those with great GFE. I mean, how far away is it from tipping generously to taking it a step further and buying them something if they need it?

Bro, just do what feels right AND fits within your budget.

As was mentioned, these girls (in HK) do this because they come from (mostly) very impoverished backgrounds.  Will they live if you, personally, don't help?  Yeah.., probably.  

And.., me?  I KNOW there are a number of gals out there that are very happy they met me.  I made a difference in their lives - when they really needed it most.  And I feel damn good about that.

Did I get taken once in a while?  Maybe.  Probably.  But this worries me not.  A bit of re-payment to the world  for the insane fun I've had without being incarcerated or divorced.  Fair trade.

you don't need to be rich but just can't be shit poor to get a good repoire with a WG.  Sort of like a gf, there just needs to be a connection; so it really about personalities & a little luck imo
