Sibutramine Hydrochloride and your penis!

Don't know if any of you have ever tried any diet medication.  For those of you who have this in mind I wanted to bring to your attention one the perhaps less known side effects of Sibutramine Hydrochloride sold in Hong Kong under the name Reductil, but you can also find lots of generic brands here.

I've had first hand experience with this, and I can tell you that when you start taking these pills you generally have headaches which may mean that you have to lower the dosage, but what really freaks you out is that you have a very difficult time getting LB up.  I'm not saying its impossible but LB has great difficulty keeping hard and when you do finally get hard LB has no staying power what so ever.

Your ejaculate is also reduced and comes out as more of a dribble than a spurt, and then over the course of the next minute that dribble continues.  When you stop taking the pills everything returns back to normal. I believe the main reason for the above is that sibutramine is a centrally-acting serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, and these kinds of drugs have a side effect of causeing impotence while you take them.

Interesting. Has all those side effects been medically proven? Are you taking other medications/supplements for your diet?

Yo Stone,

Have you checked your blood pressure on that stuff?  If your baseline BP is elevated then this will likely make it worse (hence the headaches, although that could also be related to dehydration).  Proceed withcaution!

I didn't do it.  Really I didn't.

I think you'll find all the appetite suppressants same the impact unfortunately & the effects last a few days.   Phentermine is an active ingredient in a number of these medications and you'll find it hard to get good wood if you are taking these. It is a well known & harmless side-effect, unfortunate if you want to punt!! if you are planning to punt maybe eat pussy rather than Big Macs for a couple of days, can't hurt your waist line that's for sure.

Yes, those side effects are listed and mentioned in various sources.

It was years ago when I tried this and I wasn't taking any other medication at the time.

A lot of medication's side effects include a lack of sexual libido.  It's not uncommon for the drugs you've mentioned to contain something like this.  Now, in terms of sperm count and all that, I suspect a lot will be dependent on how often, your condition, and many other things.
