hello there , this is my first post here , i live in hong kong since two years and came across this forum not so long time ago !
my couple life being ...well ..i don't think anyone really care ...anyway tonight i tell my wife i go to wan chai to see some band in a bar playing live ( i am sure there is one somewhere playing)with the firm intention of finding a girl for a FS

then here i go , checked the forum before and decided to try 37d
walked down the street , took some money and get ready in my head but
its 2200 ... everyplace i look is crowded , peoples everywhere ...
arrived nead 37d i couldn't took the small passage leading there , so much people i i kept thinking if i go there averyone will know what i am about to do
so i got stuck there !

since i can't go out very late i think 37d was not a wise choice for a start ,so i think i will try something else that can make me more comfortable for my first time !!

well this is not a report for sure just my first impression after this fail...

Bro, I had the same problem with you in beijing barbershops. I waited late till night nearby and eventually there were only a handful of people about but in my head I knew they were looking at me and were aware of my presence and I did not manage to do it. What is the cure for shy men like us? not sure still.

The cure is.....to get over it and just walk in. C'mon.....have fun. Always remember, everyone is self absorbed with their own issues, few if any, care about the indiscretions of others (unless your flagrant about it1)

my remedy: life is short and you'll have to do what's right for you
if the guilt far outweigh your self esteem, then certainly don't even entertain the idea of punting
but if your not getting the satisfaction at home and you have the urge... i suggest you suck it up, forget what anyone else thinks and march yourself up those stairs!!!

I had the exact same problem first few times - MK can be crowded at ANY time, even 2-3 in morning there are people walking abt.
Go for KP first. 37D is trickier, but the knowledge that its a version of KP with fitter/younger girls should be motivation enough

I think it may help to wear a disguising outfit like a hat and glasses or something ... at the cost of looking even more stupid at the dark night time. But anyhow, an alternative is outcall to your place/hotel. But this always leaves you wandering if you would get better quality or service at the place.

@dollar: KP first for privacy???  The streets near KP are always busy, attract a huge number of tourists, etc.  And the entrance is right under a sign saying something about 'Mans Paradise'.  Even the non-locals will figure that out or think its a strip club.  

@valelith: Forget about KP vs. 37D vs. walkups for a moment.  Yeah, 37D might feel a bit out in the open but it is not so bad.  I thought places like this were a bit strange at first, but you know, once you disappear off the street through that door no one can see you anymore.  You are a thought that has already passed from their minds.  Their shopping list is more important to them than some random guy who walked through some door, assuming they even saw you at all.

Next time you are on a busy street look around at all the people.  How many of those people did you really 'see' before you stopped to stare?  Almost zero.  When you were staring left, were you aware of what was happening on your right, in detail?  Certainly not.  Most people see nothing at all because of human limitations, and because what you are doing is not important or meaningful to them in any way whatsoever.

Just do it  You will be happy you did.

Just do it, i walked today in mong kok and to be honest, i am not even watching what the guy in front of me is doing. It will be only suspicious if he hesitates and looks around. So just go straight up and don't wait, if you wait you are busted

Wear a paper bag over your head!!   My advice....... The chances of you seeing someone you know is very very slim ( but i supppose so is winning the lottery... but someone wins) Try going there at lunch times when there doesnt seem to be so many people.

The solution, as with most things in life, is buy yourself a Macdonalds delivery uniform...
