heading to macau and tst end of this month

hey fellas, im taking a well deserved break from work and heading to macau firstly for a wild weekend, will hit up lisboa to check out the action on the racvvetrack and then check out golden dragon or darling. plus during the day will check out the adcc pro gi and no gi grappling thats happening at the venetian.

then ill be off to hk (tst) for a few days to do a little shopping and hitting up the local girls as well as getting some hotel girls

i just discovered this forum a few days ago, and my mind is blown.
coming from australia, im just used to brothels and thats about it. but this shit u got going on is the shit. plus its so much cheaper.
i cant wait.
anyway, a few questions, but im sure they might have been answered somewhere. ill be arrrving in hk at about 530pm, and will catch a ferry to macau. i did some research and there is a turbojet leaving at 7pm. the last time i was in hk was in 1987 and i have no clue as to what to do or where to go. is it relatively easy to follow the directions at the international airport?
ive booked my room already at the lisboa, so ill def check out any action that night.

ill be reading these forums til my departure to get as much info as possible.
cheers
wal

Good luck with your initial foray into monger heaven!

Don't worry about the new international airport.  It is huge, but very well marked so you can find trains, planes and automobiles very easily.  Nothing in the airport is very close though, but it is one of the best new airports in the world IMHO.

I didn't do it.  Really I didn't.

the main thing not to do - do not go thru immigration.  Once you go thru immigration, you can't take any of the ferries anymore.  You'll pick up your bags in Macau.  You should have enough time to take the 7pm ferry (60 minutes is needed from the time you land to the next ferry). The signs should be real easy to follow.

If you are coming at the end of the month to Macau, expect things to be extremely busy.  Sept 30 / Oct 1 is the start for a long week for a major holiday.  Expect saunas like golden dragon and darling to be busy.

Good thing you book your hotel already because they will double or triple in price.

good luck and look forward to hear your experience for the trip!

the sign at the airport should be clear enough, and free wifi is available right after you take off fromthe plane

unfortunately the 7-11 is on the other side of the immigration area, so nope, you can't get a HK sim card.  It's sort of late in the game to be picking up one from Ebay as well.  I can't remember if there is a phone store at the ferry.

To be honest, I've never had to pick up bags before boarding the ferry, so I'm not sure.  I think what you would need to do is to tell the airline in Australia that you're going through to Macau instead of HK and they can then tag your bags.
