I would guess three to four guys in a smaller KYV is fine.  And Yes, bigger places like Mayflower, Jai Yu, Eurasian there would not be an issue. I had mentioned that in my previous post.

The cons are in a larger group mongering:

You are correct about everyone in the neighborhood knowing about my secret hobby.  Very very few of my friends know about my hobby.  Half of the guys that I went with the first time were either married, or had girlfriends.  They definitely don't want any rumors running around. That's one negative of going in a larger group. Someone might have a big big mouth.

Other reasons are someone not paying there fair share of the of cost in a larger group. Some guys drink more than others. I was at a KTV once, some guys drank like a fish. They were friends of a friend and I didn't know them.

Yeah, a problem with punting with mates is that sometimes their drunken talk can be indiscreet.  I've never had a problem with my mates who have  longtime SO's, but I did have a problem a newly-single mate.  We're sitting in a regular pub with non-mongering mates and he starts talking about a nite we had together in WanChai!  I interrupt immediately and tell him he has me confused with someone else.  He looks confused and continues!!  Idiot!!  A goal is scored in the game we're watching which interrupts the story again and gives me a chance to tell him to "Shut THE FUCK UP!!!!!".  He looks at me really confused again..., man!  Finally he clues in.

Saying "sorry" doesn't add up to nothing if the damage is already done.  

Anyway.  I don't party with this guy anymore --- since becoming single he's become super hardcore and reckless (Yeah, even too reckless for me!  Haha).

I wouldnt punt with local friends but I would and did punt with friends who are based overseas. We only see each other once or twice a year and we are not into each other's daily life so the distance makes me feel more comfortable to punt with them.

had a problem like this too a few years back. we were eating in a restaurant with some of the guys girlfriends present, and then this asshole who we went to a ktv once with starts mentioning the ktv's name! mother effer! he was trying to pass it off as a joke. good thing the girlfriends didnt notice it or we woulda been fucked.

suffice to say, that was the last time we ever invited that dick again.

I once, just once, witnessed another bro's mongering habit get used against him in a brutal partnership discussion.  There was a lot of money that was won/lost in that negotiation and the loss must have upped his mongering costs by quite a lot, all-in.  That experience made me super careful about who knows and who doesn't, when it comes to the hobby.

Well that's why we all have to watch out who we punt with. I don't trust most people, because if they turn me, I lose half of what I own. HALF!

Yeah, it's all fun and games until your friendship goes sour and the guy with nothing to lose pulls the nuclear option.  You may be pals today, in the bar, fondling titties (the girls' not each others ) but will you be pals next year?  How about 10 years from now when he converts to a fundamentalist, bible-banging religion and decides that you need to be 'outed' to be saved?  You never know.

problem is, the guy doesnt give a flying fuck if his girlfriend leaves him or not. i on the other hand, love my wife and dont want her to get hurt just bec i can keep my dick in my pants!
