I think it's hard to say whether to marry a WG or not cause it depends on how deeply in love you're with the gal..... If you find out that she really loves you (not your money) than I think it ok cause after all.... they are just a normal gal too.....

Open relationship is fine with me.  I would date and marry a working girl, however I would have to know this girl for quite some time.

What we do to earn a living is just that, unless you live to work... you are just working to live.  If given a better option would they still sell their pussy for money?

if no, then no problem.
if yes, will the WG wife mind?

i have 2 friends who are in a punter/WG marriage.

1 guy friend, he married a WG, for many years, now have 2 kids.
they look very blissful, one happy family.
i know for sure, he doesn't punt anymore, only the occasional KTV sessions with me, but he doesn't bring back the girls.
he tells me the wife is super paranoid when he don't come home at night.

the other is a female friend.

Sad to say, but he still punts here and there. And that's what I don't understand. I can already picture the vicious circle repeating itself.

for me, i won't mind, as long as she is honest with me, that she let me know beforehand, but is does mean she will have shop the service of course, I think most WG choose this type of business for some reason, and in hong kong it more relates to living standard or paying off bills for themselves or a gambling father of some sort.

hmmm all i have to say is i know couples who have gotten married and they knew each other since elementary school and ya know what they got divorced. i know couples who have had spent 100,000 usd on their weddings and ya know what they got divorced. i know couples who have been married for ten years or more and they still got divorced. i'd say anyone has a chance and what the hell why not. if it works it works.

Locus58, I would imagine that your ex-friend just had enough of his wife and family responsibilities and wanted to turn back the clock to the days when he was free and has power to run his own schedule. Not having to be nagged for household chores anddoing the school runs and kids activities. I now have two kids and I love them to bit, but there are times when I think for a second "God, I wish I could be out with mates for a beer and just hang out".... Maybe your fried gave firm groundrules to his WG wife and she happily accepts them in exchange for security and a relatively stable lifestyle. Essentially becoming an official mistress.

What got me intrigued into this thread was curiosity whether any one who did marry a WG would be ok with them still continuing in their profession. Like how porn stars do get married but they still fuck like crazy in their blue movies. I'm sure that it's no small amount of tax-free income they're getting (apart from agent fees). Like in the Chinese comedy movie called "Golden Chicken", a typical walk-up girl could easily be earning over HK$30k a month if she gets good regular business. A successful marriage is hard enough when neither party brings such baggage into it.

She knows you've been an active punter;  you know she's been a WG.  Each time you're out with the boys she'll wonder.  Each business trip you go on you'll wonder about her while she's alone and bored.

In the last year I've met 3 married WGs.  I am screwing all 3 of them and the husband does not know (according to her...).  (We can only meet day-times).  I asked why she still does it:  all 3 gave a variation of "bored, and extra (secret) cash".

No question there are exceptions.., but marrying a WG adds far too much additional challenges to a relationship.

I agree with your statement.  It's not that it CANNOT workout, but odds are definitely against it.  Like you said, normally marriages are difficult enough, add a WG situation and the odds of happily ever after are rare (IMO).  

For those who want to take the plunge anyway....Go for it! No one is stopping you, but realize the risks.  There are plenty of real life examples that show how these ended in disaster. They are all over this site and others.

Doesn't mean yours will not work out.  I met a couple over the weekend that looks awesome.  A stunner of a Thai girl with a an expat.  I think this site has corrupted my mind as I kept thinking this guy picked up a WG and married her.  WTF!  What is wrong with me???  Why can't a white guy from HK just find a normal Thai beauty, fall in love and that's it???  Why does my mind need to keep wondering if she was a WG!?!?!
