Macau Hotel Question

I see on websites where they have discounted hotel rates

what if you are a local macau/HK resident? will your rates be cheaper? is there an agency where u can call to get cheaper rates?

another question is, which is the top 10 hotels? to stay in, based on quality of the hotel

Cherry - n o idea about rates. You just have to hunt until you find something acceptable to your own standards and cash flow. Compare some of the popular online travel sites to see if any of them are holding rooms at good rates.

As far as "Top 10" goes, I suppose it depends on your standards. If you mean 4 or 5 Star places, then it's a safe bet that any of the Casino properties will meet your criteria. However, there are some old-school and boutique type places that might suit your fancy.

Do you want to be near a particular part of town? The Cotai strip is focusing on top hotel brands - Galaxy has Banyan Tree for example, then there's COD with Hyatt and Hard Rock. Macau side has too many to mention...but I hear the suites at Starworld are pretty nice.

I'd suggest poking around the web on travel review sites to gain some insight on properties that fit your needs.
