Ok so my mongering tour of duty is being stifled somewhat by my inability to speak Mandarin. There must be people out there willing to set appointments up on my behalf for a price, but I'm having a lot of difficulty locating said people. If the English speaking agents had a walkin office, would be easy as pie, go in, chip them some money and done. As it stands I only have the phone contacts for English speaking agents, so while they're suitable for the job, I don't know how I would go about paying them for their services.

So does anyone know of a walkup girl who has a decent level of English?  I'm figuring a walkup girl would be more than happy to take five minutes to ring some numbers if you paid her accordingly (I think this would be an ideal option). Anybody aware of any other options that might be open to me? I should just ask, but do the foreign guys trying to sell you watches and crap speak Mandarin? If so they may well be willing to book an appointment for a fee.

I think I could get the papasan at 8MK to do some bookings for me, but he has his own operation, so if I was there to see one of his girls sure I'd ask, but wouldn't feel right going in there for the express purpose of getting him to organise a booking with a competitor..

What do people think a fair compensation would be for organising an appointment? I'd probably pay $50, perhaps too much but I'd be happy to have finally found someone who could help me out.

The other consideration is the Mandarin only phone appointment girls may well not want to see Western (non Mandarin speaking) clients. I don't know how common this would be, but would still need some Mandarin speaking agent to establish this.

I've sent a few SMS messages using google translate, but no responses. I'm not sure if the girls are hesitant to accept bookings via SMS in general, or if my translation is a bit off, so they can tell I'm a gweilo .

In the meantime I'm going to search for some English speaking girls in the DB, problem is they might list English, but still have a very poor level of English..

Asking the english speaking girls in the DB might not get you far as the DB girls only do the "service" they list they provide. There going to be hesistant in helping you do other things outside of the "bedroom" (ie. getting into your business/ vice versa) helping you translate, etc...

But, if your tight with a papasan, im pretty sure he'll help you book as long as you "customer" his clients too often right?

Well I've already had one girl ring on my behalf (she doesn't speak English, but she rang her agent, I explained to agent, agent explained to her, then I gave her some cash - so was a bit long winded) - but it appears the girl she was trying to book was no longer available. Problem being I couldn't talk with her after she placed the call to find out exactly why she was unable to make the booking. Also I know some of the phone appointments give you the building, but want you to ring again closer to the time to get the exact address (door number etc), not sure why they can't just give all the details and a time slot..

I would have thought given sufficient financial incentive the DB girls would be more than happy to help, easy work, fast cash. Anyway I hope to be seeing a girl later this afternoon, who apparently speaks English..

I would think the older girls who don't get much business would be especially happy to get some easy work on the side.

Ok so I found someone to contact some girls on my behalf. Out of three potentials, all three picked up but said they do not service foreigners. So perhaps a number of these girls don't have an English speaking agent simply because they don't care to service foreigners? All three girls were in the Yau Ma Tei district, same price, so it's possible they all worked at the same place (I hear there's a brothel there which advertises it's girls as phone appointment on 141).

Is it likely they don't want to service foreigners period, or might HJ/BJ be an option (anyone have first hand experience wherre FS declined, but other options available)? I was supposed to check if alternatives to FS were available, but forgot about this until after the calls had been made.

Again if I find a walkup girl that has good English I will post details here. The girl that made the calls on my behalf was a phone appointment girl.

I guess it's also possible that getting a girl to call is simply a bad idea, can't see why, but also can't see why girls would reject a foreigner without at least offering reduced services. If any kind soul wants to test this theory and give the girl a call themself (to see if they get a different response when a guy calls), please PM me and I'll provide contacts.

Also, I understand now that some of the girls don't post their contact details because they're working in a hotel (for the same reason we should not post hotel names on the forum, they cannot publicly advertise address). However why is it so cloak and dagger, they tell you to go to xxx, then ask you to call them when you get there etc. Can't they just give you the address over the phone? I mean, at the end of the day, you're going to get the address either way.
