Back to the OP's dilema - if he is sure his mates DO NOT punt than these bars are very safe actually - his mates would never go to them.  All the guys in these bars know the score and are playing the game too.  Flirting in LKF is much more dangerous for getting caught by a non-understanding  friend or your SO's friend.
