Hi guys,

Great site, and lots of great reports on here.  Many nice suggestions on hotel
walk in, walk ups, messages.  There's been a few thread on nightclub / KTV.

Question I want to ask is:
What are some of the more popular night clubs in Hong Kong for
the younger crowd? Like age 18-22. Not looking for anything sexual.

There's been a few mention about Lan Kwai Fong and Beijing Club, but what
other suggestions are there out there? What are some of the more local ones?

Local to where?

I live in New Territories but I travel to clubs in LKF & Soho most weekends. It depends what you mean by local, or more specifically where. If you are looking for the younger crowd, your best bet is Lan Kwai Fong or Soho but Soho can be a tad expensive.

there was a club on Nathan Rd in TST between the Mira Hotel and the Holiday Inn on that side of the road.Not sure if it's still there? I would walk past it on my way to work and see kids staggering out and falling into taxis from the night before. Maybe it's the kind of thing you are looking for?

I tend to go to Prive more, but that's probably slightly older crowd (25-35)

A friend of mine mentioned Billions to try as well as Beijing

You should try Hanoi road tst it's where the younger generations hang out. Lkf is mainly for foreigners a lot of potentious people there! I for myself tend to drink in Shenzhen better choices and cheaper but beware of fake drinks!!

Your best bet is to probably hit up prive or beijing club. Its definitely pretty pricy but there are a good amount of locals hanging around there. There are bars that have a lot of foreigners and international students at Zinc and Agave.

If youre like me who doesnt like the LKF scene, then maybe you should hit up TST. its pretty bumpin there. Lots of bars such as M1 on pratt ave. I personally dont like LKF because i think its very expensive and too rich for my blood. I have yet to find a full on CLUB in the local areas.

Club in Natan Rd was Cyber, shut down for abt 4 years.

In LKF, BJ Club on Tuesday/Wednesday very young crowd.

Try Shake Shake, which is replacing Sugar, and next door Billion, both on Saturday.

In Kowloon side try Why club on Minden Av.

What would be the  best time to go BJ club on Tues/Weds? Guessing it would be later on?
And the same question for Why club also. Tks.

Wednesdays at skitz in wanchai right off lockhart rd. U will find international students there partying their asses off with the 160hkd open bar. Free entrance for ladies. Its basically a dirty bar that turns into a club with all the wild american students that stuy abroad. Go around 10-11 to make the best of ur open bar!

I'm gonna visit clubs in hong kong aswell, I'm more interested in international dj's than the place tho

Hyde, Beijing Club, and Likuid are proper clubs in LKF.

HITEC is a convention centre hall, far out in the Kowloon Bay industrial sector, that is hired out by promoters for international dj acts. Do not go to HITEC if there are no international dj acts scheduled there.

In LKF, there is a chain of entertainment places that always have loads of youngsters drinking by it. The chain is called "7-Eleven"! LKF has three 7-11's. Go to the one that is on LanKwaiFong Road. This is the best one as it has a nice outdoor drinking area and a nearby outdoor terrace with seats (public space by between garbarge collection point and public toilets) whereby so many youngsters and cheap adults congregate to drink inexpensive beers.

These 7-11's have an excellent selection of both local and imported beers/coolers/wine. You can get a great import beer for under $9 whereby at the bars across the way it would costs at least $60 for the same beer and even more inside the clubs.

There's been a lot of mention about LKF and ones like Beijing.  But those ones tend to be bit pricier, and they are full of foreigners, international people, of locals wanting to dig a white guy.

I would presume it to be places in lkf. Try beijing and prive. fong is a nice lounge as well! Get back to us and give us insight on what you think of these places.
