Does Hong Kong have the equivalent of an airbnb.com or a homeaway.com? I noticed only a handful of rentals available in HK on both sites. Thanks! -j

Prices vary and can go from pretty cheap to unaffordable. Do some searching on "serviced apartments hong kong". The nice thing about these is that they are fully furnished, you get fresh towels and linen every day (which is good for punting purposes).

It also has a category dedicated to day rents i think, allowing you to rent a place by the day. Also craiglist is a good place to find short lease especially during the summer when some people travel abroad and want someone to guard their house. Cheers,
