Vacation Rental in HK?

I'll be visiting HK in April with a few mates and would love to rent out a flat for about a week. Does Hong Kong have the equivalent of an airbnb.com or a homeaway.com? I noticed only a handful of rentals available in HK on both sites. Thanks!

there are quite a few serviced apartments that offer short leases, some are right in the middle of the action i.e. TST and CWB. Prices vary and can go from pretty cheap to unaffordable. Do some searching on "serviced apartments hong kong". The nice thing about these is that they are fully furnished, you get fresh towels and linen every day (which is good for punting purposes).

Another option is a holiday home on Cheung Chau - that is of course not suitable for Punting as it is away from the action. Advantag though it feels more like a holiday. Another plus would a good choice of seafood.

Hey mate,
You can start by looking at asiaexpat website which has a search filter for locations (which geoexpat does not have).
It also has a category dedicated to day rents i think, allowing you to rent a place by the day.
Also craiglist is a good place to find short lease especially during the summer when some people travel abroad and want someone to guard their house.

Cheers,

Try this one:

http://hongkong.geoexpat.com/cla ... t.php/cat/12/page/2

They have some short-term, affordable rental and is at the heart of the island.
