A leopard will never change it's spots

My little grand niece was asking me why a leopard will never change it's spots and I really don't know how to explain to her;

Maybe I will tell her that when a leopard grows, more spots are added to the body until a stage when the leopard stops growing and the the spots are embbed on the skin? and the leopard cannot change the spots any more???

Dreadful that one day she will ask  "Granduncle, can surgery help? " ..................................

It's simple Sulasno. Just ask your grand niece why she thinks a leopard should change its spots. A leopard is a
proud and beautiful animal - why should it change? Even animals which are not beautiful - like frogs and worms
are still deserving of our respect. Chidren should be taught to respect all animals as well as all people - even
those who appear to be different. Everyone is different and, in a civilised society, there's room for everyone
and everyone should have the same rights.

Bloody hell, Sulasno got a grand niece, he must be getting on a bit. And yet he's still got the stamina for mongering. Would be much appreciate to all bros, if Sulasno can share with us his secret formula.

Is RR still alive? OMG

and only holdings with Miss HK?

btw I have checked what does "A leopard will never change it's spots" means;

it refers to something like it is difficult for a person to change his habits/characteristics, etc

Think I got a tricky grandniece for sure

Yes he's still around,
well actually it's the Miss HK's are holding on to him rather then the other way around ..
just incase he falls over
But I know for a fact, a dozen years ago he was still trying out the new starlets !

Yup, I guess for any one of us its hard to change our habbits & characters much especially when we get older ...

A Man's Nature

I like the story of the crocodile and the rabbit. A rabbit wants to cross the river to visit his family on the other side. So he asks a crocodile to carry him across and to promise not to eat him. The crocodile thinks about this and upon hearing that the little rabbit wants to visit his family, he agrees. After all, the crocodile also has a family. So the rabbit jumps on the crocodile's back and they float across the river, exchanging stories about their children. When they get to the other side, the rabbit jumps off - but the crocodile catches the rabbit in its teeth. The horrified rabbit asks the crocodile why he wants to eat him after they've become friends. The crocodile says he's sorry, but it's his nature. And then he eats the rabbit.

The moral of the story is that a man can never change his nature. He is what he is and, no matter how much he might try to change, his true nature will always show itself eventually.

I like to tell this story to girlfriends that I'm dumping and they ask me how I can be such an uncaring bastard.

The Scorpion and the frog

The Scorpion and the Frog

One day, a scorpion looked around at the mountain where he lived and decided that he wanted a change. So he set out on a journey through the forests and hills. He climbed over rocks and under vines and kept going until he reached a river.

The river was wide and swift, and the scorpion stopped to reconsider the situation. He couldn't see any way across. So he ran upriver and then checked downriver, all the while thinking that he might have to turn back.

Suddenly, he saw a frog sitting in the rushes by the bank of the stream on the other side of the river. He decided to ask the frog for help getting across the stream.

"Hellooo Mr. Frog!" called the scorpion across the water, "Would you be so kind as to give me a ride on your back across the river?"

"Well now, Mr. Scorpion! How do I know that if I try to help you, you wont try to kill me?" asked the frog hesitantly.

"Because," the scorpion replied, "If I try to kill you, then I would die too, for you see I cannot swim!"

Now this seemed to make sense to the frog. But he asked. "What about when I get close to the bank? You could still try to kill me and get back to the shore!"

"This is true," agreed the scorpion, "But then I wouldn't be able to get to the other side of the river!"

"Alright then...how do I know you wont just wait till we get to the other side and THEN kill me?" said the frog.

"Ahh...," crooned the scorpion, "Because you see, once you've taken me to the other side of this river, I will be so grateful for your help, that it would hardly be fair to reward you with death, now would it?!"

So the frog agreed to take the scorpion across the river. He swam over to the bank and settled himself near the mud to pick up his passenger. The scorpion crawled onto the frog's back, his sharp claws prickling into the frog's soft hide, and the frog slid into the river. The muddy water swirled around them, but the frog stayed near the surface so the scorpion would not drown. He kicked strongly through the first half of the stream, his flippers paddling wildly against the current.

Halfway across the river, the frog suddenly felt a sharp sting in his back and, out of the corner of his eye, saw the scorpion remove his stinger from the frog's back. A deadening numbness began to creep into his limbs.

"You fool!" croaked the frog, "Now we shall both die! Why on earth did you do that?"

The scorpion shrugged, and did a little jig on the drownings frog's back.

"I could not help myself. It is my nature."

Then they both sank and died in the muddy waters of the swiftly flowing river.
