When going to Macau, how much do you spend?

When you guys go to Macau, do you guys venture out of the spa to hit up the casinos?

My luck has been bad recently and I keep ending up losing. I end up spending at least 4x the package of the spa itself just at the casinos. They should allow those membership points to be used at the spas!

What about you guys?

If I go to macau to gamble, I always put a limit of when to stop, like HK$4000, I know it take a lot of will power, but if I don't, I know I will lose everything if I don't put a limit to it.

Take my advice. You would always lose at gambling no matter what so just go for the food and the pretty girls in the sauna or hanging out at hotel. I noticed last week that security has been beefed up at the Venetian and a lot of WGs now hang at the Shoppes at the Four Seasons, particularly around the Moet and Chandon bar.

I used to be a heavy gambler but I realized many years ago it a losing situation, you know the saying how those beautiful casinos aren't built with winners!

I still gamble from time to time but more recreational, like once or twice a year and just sit at a live poker game...

Now that I been to Macau, I rather save my hard earn cash for the food and ladies, a bbbj is way better than a kick in the balls!

Thats the problem with Macau. The temptation to gamble before or after the spa

I guess the risk you pay to get one of the best spas in Asia!

Haha...the temptation is for me to overspend on the sauna girls. I've had a couple of days where I did 3 saunas in one day. 2 saunas a day is always standard for me though, so that's at least $2K-3K per day. Luckily I don't live in HK, so I don't burn through cash that fast.

Somehow, I've pounded it into my head that gambling in casinos just isn't for me. I think I've already got that type of thrill just by doing risky investments in the stock market (and being good at it) that I hate it when the odds are against me. When in Macau, I'm there just for the guaranteed services.

I've never been hooked into gambling. Heck, I seldom try the mark six in HK, so your advice is good enough to try WGs rather than slot machines in Macau.

Macau can be fun, if u set a limit for yourself. usually i dont like to gamble as other ppl in this chat. seems like the house usually have a crazy house odd anyhow. for me just visiting the sauna house is good enough.
