Would that mean there might be some discount due to the increase in competition?

But unfortunately to be followed by a very steep drop in the number of girls available everywhere.

And right now, I'm already hearing girls wanting to go home earlier this year - worried about how the weather has been in China this winter - and hoping to avoid the fiasco of a couple years back when a lot of people were stranded.

So - make hay while the sun shines guys!

The chaotic weather has already started and many girls I have talked to are heading home next week. There were many closure of highways between Guangdong and Hunan, Guizhou and even Yunnan. The temperatures plunged 25 degrees C in just one day on Wednesday accompanied by gale force winds. I have attached some pictures taken in Hunan just on Thursday. The freeze arrived so abruptly that everything just instantly became frozen.

So bros, if you think HK is feeling a bit nippy at the moment, bear a thought for what's happening in Hunan, just 6 hours by car North of Hong Kong!

Chinese New Year Migration

Chinese New Year Migration

For Chinese New Year, it is estimated 150 million to 200 million travel back home.

Two videos on the mad rush going back home. After watch the videos, you will know why people cut in line in China. You don't want to be the last one and you want to get a head start first. Many will try to leave early to avoid the mad rush.  During CNY most transportation like train, buses, taxis can double in price.

In 2008, there was a big snow storm and cold front that hit China during CNY. It was estimated over 1 million people were stuck in Guangzhou. It looks like the National Guard was called in to help.

Wouldn't it be better to come to HK/Macau in March? I.e. after CNY when the weather is a bit warmer? I'm pondering the timing of my next trip now.

There's never a 'better' time to come to Macau. Whenever you visit Macau, you're guaranteed full service 24 hours a day from a variety of nationalities.

Just to add that they will need money again once CNY is over....

Great timing for me...

Cause RICO begins his invasion of Hong Kong " AGAIN" just after CNY...

Ah, its just one public holiday to start the year of the rabbit... so what I thought? But I did some research and I see that its the most important festivity of the chinese caledendar...."Within China, regional customs and traditions concerning the celebration of the Chinese new year vary widely. People will pour out their money to buy presents, decoration, material, food, and clothing. It is also the tradition that every family thoroughly cleans the house to sweep away any ill-fortune in hopes to make way for good incoming luck. Windows and doors will be decorated with red colour paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of happiness, wealth, and longevity. On the Eve of Chinese New Year, supper is a feast with families. Food will include such items as pigs, ducks, chicken and sweet delicacies. The family will end the night with firecrackers. Early the next morning, children will greet their parents by wishing them a healthy and happy new year, and receive money in red paper envelopes"... So, the CNY tradition is a great way to reconcile; forgetting all grudges, and sincerely wish peace and happiness for everyone, yikes!

You forgot to mention that it's also the biggest Exodus of people in the the world, every year, once a year. Guess you didn't copy that part from Wikipedia or wasn't that mentioned?

During this time CNY, I usually give my tips to girls in a red envelope.  I also know someone who passes out red envelope. Now, he gives it to almost everyone he meets when he is at a KTV.  Everyone, like the mommies, the DJ's and the people who bring in the food. What he gives is not too much but it the thought that counts.

The bad part, if they see you the next year around CNY, they will be expecting a red envelope again.  This has happened to me already last year wth two working girls that I know.

CNY is when the large anual human migration in the world occurs.

edit: changed "meet" to "meets", "to two" to "with two"
