Macair seems to be getting better and better and makes most sense for travel.  Appledoes have a leg up and able to charge at least twice the competition for regular notebooks.

I just bought the Macbook Air 13", the one that is fully decked up with 4GB ram and faster processor, 2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. Find that it's still best to buy it from a retailer as they're willing to load in some extra software which was not included in the OS. I think that the online sale will benefit those that are interested in the ipod Touch, ipods, and iPad but stick to a retailer if you want to buy the desktop or notebooks.

Transferring iTunes Library to external HD via Migration Assistant

I had transferred my entire iTunes Library to an an external disk using Migration Assistant on the new MacBook Air but all the Playlist folders are now gone. Anyone have any suggestions on a fix? How do I get back the Playlists?

nope. with itunes 10. its quite seamless and painless to utilize iTunes on more than one computer on a network and share/move your music/app/podcasts/movie libraries around, just make sure that you know which hardware is updating from which libraries inside your network. You don't really need to use migration assistant in this instance.

there are many apple devices that can help with the sharing of files such as AirPort Extreme.
