Definitely HG. Walkup girls rarely allow photos of themselves. This can be attributed to some of them having a Hong Kong visa and being residents here, so they understandably want to keep a lower profile and not getting their faces in circulation.

Mainland Chinese hotel girls with short stay Visas are more likely to pose for photos, in order to get more exposure and business during their short stay if you write a report of them. Or they can just more readily please you by allowing you to take photos, since they think it's a low chance of anyone back home happening to see them.

Edit: When asking to take photos of her, first of all be very casual and try not to look nervous. I sure was the first times I tried asking, and got rejected a lot.

Since then I've defaulted to asking them after both are dressed up, as a conclusion to the session. But before paying for it (and tipping); let them make that last good impression to you and work for it. I speak only elementary Chinese and have noticed that 95% of girls do not understand when you ask in English if you can take photos of her. So I just start by asking it in English, which they don't understand, then I follow up with hand sign imitation of taking a photograph and pointing at her. Asking OK? They should then either shake their head, nod in approval, or seem confused. If they are confused, dig the camera out of your bag and hold it to them, and ask OK?

Thanks for the information. I'm going to give it a try next time. I assume recording a video of the action would be hard to get them to agree to?

IMHO would have to say yes, it would be considerably more difficult. Taking pictures is one thing. Video seems to be stepping up the perviness to another level

That being said, there's certainly no harm in asking. Basically the worst thing she can do is say no

i remember once bringing a dslr to a walk up.. was let down when she didnt want picture taken.. had to carry it back home and quite heavy =(

They would probably be willing to take video if you tip them large amounts.  Money talks, just need to find out how much you're willing to pay.

normally if you ask a WG she would say no.. but for HG girls its a different matter

I agree with Skinny, HG much better chances of pictures. I tend to ask and if I cannot be understood gesture, if that does not work pull out the camera.
I have never had a girl go back on pics based on the camera being too large....  
Although I do tend to pull out the camera then gauge response before pulling out the flash. (I'm pretty keen on photography and still learning the craft, as they say practice makes perfect.)

Generally I tend to ask, after the action, either just before the shower or just after. Either way I'm in the nude. Probably makes for an amusing site having a naked qweilo photo them.
I shoot a few shots and then show them, if they do not like them, delete them and repeat. I show all the photos I take to the girl.
