I've called an agent about 2 girls 3 times now, and she does not speak English and just hangs up the phone on me. On last time she said in bad English that she speaks Cantonese, before hanging up on me. While I do not approve of her way of doing business, I'd still want to get a booking done with her girls. Any advice on how to do it. Has anyone made bookings by SMS before? Although I would not understand any reply. Or should I write down and learn how to say "please book this girl for me today at this time and SMS me the address"? Found an old thread with some advice, like get a taxi driver to make the call and tip him. Learning the phone language was suggested, but no reference on where to learn it from. Are there any sample FAQ texts anywhere here in the forums on how to make a call in Cantonese or Mandarin along with explanation and pinyin pronunciation? And I agree with Haroldla, learning to say a question of a sentence is only 1/3 of the problem, cause then she is going to say something back and if you don't understand it, you are still probably screwed. Worse, because you said something in Cantonese, the agent will now think you SHOULD understand.

Something along the lines of asking to book a girl named xxxx in xxx area at next time she is available today, please SMS me the hotel address and time as I do not speak Chinese.

I think you need to try some who can speak in english in this case. otherwise you will just keep calling and get nothing.
