This has gotten me wondering. Each girl is assigned a website user id number, but when I look at the about 50 girls in today's updates, only a few have a user id above 30,000 and most have an id below 10,000. The highest new id today I think was http://www.sex141.com/en/viewid.php?uid=30244

So, why are there 'new'girls with user id as low as even 300. Is this because agents need to pay an advertising fee for each user account, and therefore they keep recycling old accounts to new girls?

One reason is that many of the girls aren't new but have been here before.
Happy Nuts, for instance, with a user ID in the 3,000s, has been here forever.

Yes, there seems to be many old faces on the updates list, but that does not explain this case.

I felt masochistic, so to drive my point I copied all of today's User ID's on the updates page. A total of 61 girls are welcomed to 141 on August 11th. Only one girl seems to have a completely new user id above 30,000. Why do the rest of the girls have old ids, even new faces?

i think you need to distinguish between walk-up girls and HGs (hotel girls).

those lower numbered and in the upper 5 digits are usually walk-ups. meaning they probably live in HK and have permanent residence status, as they have been on the DB for years. they are assigned these UIDs so that their links can be more or less permanent, given that hotel girls come and go every week and new links and UIDs need to be assigned to these HGs.

hotel girls are the ones who come and go. they are usually in 4 digit UIDs and less than 10000 UID (the latest i think is 93++), but that may soon change given that they are nearing the 10000 UID mark.

also, new does not mean "totally new." New means "new for the week", so they may have been here before (HGs for example retain the same UID if they return to HK under same name and agent), and for walk ups, new means their ad is up again this week (they probably took some time off for their period or to go vacation, etc)

How old is 141 anyway? That's got be an impressive "girls : year" ratio!

I think new profiles are simply assigned the next unused number.  It used to be that the new numbers assigned always increased.  But I noticed (I think last fall) when the new assignment numbers rolled over from 3xxxx back to low numbers.  Since there were no "old" profiles with higher numbers than the new ones prior to that, I assume that this was the first time it rolled over.  I suspect the database has a "short integer" index, so it's probably limited to 32,767 (2 to the 15th power minus 1).  

SkinnyForum's list shows a clumping of new profiles running up to #9387.  What that must mean is that the entirely new profiles have now rolled up to that number.  Any number higher than than is someone who was new before the numbers rolled over last fall.
